One of the most important public benefits resulting from urban renewal and revenue allocationFinancing is the creation of new jobs - temporary jobs during the Construction phase and permanent Operations jobs once a project is complete.  These jobs range from entry level service to higher paying management positions.

The residual effect expands unilaterally. Concepts, Architectural Schematic design Contracting, Manufacturing, Construction and Installation Facility Operations and Maintenance.

From the actual development of the project design and construction, employment is increased by all of the manufacturing and supply of products and services. Local, domestic and international supporting businesses will be expanded. Some examples are:Contractor products suppliers; the Government Agencies who support and control the aspects of the project; the local suppliers who provide services to the project and its employees; banks and financial services; advertising and marketing services; medical and personal care services; security and police; communication and electronics services; internet and communication service providers; insurance providers; food services; vehicle, subway and transportation services; maintenance services of all kinds; attorneys; recycling services; sanitation and waste management; entertainment providers; hotels and lodging; Real Estate; shopping and all kinds of personal need product providers; landscaping; schools; International product suppliers; fuel and utilities providers; and so many more. Tens of thousands of jobs are required to support the project.

The aspect of employment on the level of the Dohwa Project, changes the whole dynamic and complexion of the local economy and grandly reduces the unemployment of not only Incheon but South Korea as well.

This project will create a huge and wide divergence of jobs and professions, as associated people, domestic and International, come to the area, expanding the competency and educational base of the people, while drastically changing the local environment, its economy and its tax base.

With these thoughts in mind, we present below, a general statement as to the job availability required to bring the Dohwa Project to fruition.

The Dohwa Project is categorized as a “fast track” building project. The goal is to build out the property as quickly as possible so the Community can come together. The development of the extensive infrastructure will be mobalized immediately upon funding, as the preliminary work has been accomplished and the Government is on board to see that the project is expedited. As one will note below in the recapitulation chart, a huge effort will take place to prepare the footprint on which the various buildings will stand. As this is a unique design, beginning 5 stories below ground, a massive effort will be required before the first buildings are started.

As the Commercial , support and residential areas are completed, the trend will be for the Construction task to reduce as the operations task will accelerate. Though only a 6 year projection is shown, it is anticipated that the employment for the project will grow to and expand past 20,000 persons.

A full detail is available upon request. It is organized in a monthly, 6 year scope, based upon each of the individual, 52 work phases and projects.

The work load employment required by the Project Architect and the General Contract are estimated as can best be determined at this point in the development of the project.
