Explore the most scenic trip in the mountain area of Vietnam with its awe-inspiring nature and

colorful ethnic cultures. You will have a great time discovering the beautiful town of Sapa; driving

over Hoang Lien Son and Pha Din, the two most spectacular passes in Vietnam. Many opportunities

to mingle with diverse Hill tribe people on the trip such as Hmong living in the high mountains, the

Dao with flamboyant costumes, Lu women with their sophisticated silver jewelry and lacquered

teeth, and the Thai with their elegant dresses.

TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Welcomed on arrival at Noi Bai airport by IntimateAsia tour guide, and then you will be transferred

by private vehicle to your hotel in town. Afternoon visit Temple of Literature and then explore local

life in Ancient Quarter by an exclusive walking tour. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau

Morning depart Hanoi for Mai Chau, begins your excursion to North West mountain of Vietnam.

Arrive in Mai Chau at noon, visit Lac and Pom Coong villages inhabited by the Thai at the foot of the

mountain. Lunch at a local family and walk around to visit the villages. Then transfer to Mai Hich

village; meet with local family and settle in a beautiful wooden stilt- house.Dinner and enjoy a Thai

traditional dance show performed by local villagers. Overnight atThai homestay (B, L, D)

Day 3: Mai Chau– Son La

Breakfast and say goodbye to the family, we drive toward Son La. Take a short hike to Pa Co village

where you can meet the Black H’mong ethnic group. Continue drive passing Moc Chau with its lush

tea plantation where you can stop for some nice photos. Visit Na Ken village, home to Black Thai

ethnic group before keep driving to Son La. Arrive the town in the late afternoon. Overnight in Son La

(B,L, D)

Day 4: Son La – Sin Ho

The morning we visit Old French prison of Son La old Prison then depart for Sin Ho via Tuan Giao and

Muong Lay. Drive over Pha Din, one of the most famous pass in the North of Vietnam. Enjoy the

great scenery and visit Red Mong village on the pass. After lunch at Tuan Giao, keep driving to

Muong Lay over the beautiful area of White Mong people on unpopular Hoa pass. After that, the

road will take us over the cloud to conquer Sin Ho, the hidden town located on high elevation as Sa

Pa. You will have change to integrate to Red Mong people along the way. Overnight in Sin Ho (B, L,

D).

Day 5: Sin Ho – Lai Chau

We spend a full day traveling through Vietnam’s most mountainous region. In the morning, the road

will take us through the cloud from Sin Ho to Lai Chau the beautiful town located in green terrace

teaplantation. You will have change to integrate to Red Mong, Dao and Lu people along the

way.Overnight in Lai Chau (B, L, D).

Day 6: Lai Chau – Sa Pa

After a morning bumpy drive through the most beautiful hidden-north landscapes region, we will

pass over Hoang Lien Son Pass, where you can admire the most spectacular scenery of mountain in

the whole of Vietnam before arriving in Sa Pa. Check in hotel and enjoy an orientation walk around

to visit the town its villas in French architecture, old church and Ham Rong Mountain. Overnight in Sa

Pa (B, L, D).

Day 7: Sa Pa

Breakfast at hotel. Another day in Sapa for a walk to visit colorful ethnic market. Then trek to Y Linh

Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van village where inhabited by the Hmong, Dao and Dzay ethnic people.

Overnight in Sapa (B).

Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 8: Sa Pa - Hanoi

Morning free time for own discovery of the town. Check out hotel and drive back to Hanoi in new

highway. Tour ends after arriving in Hanoi (B, L). At leisure until transfer to the airport for departure

flight home or to other destination. End of tour.
