How to create iPod video files using Windows Movie maker

You have to convert the video into an AVI file. To do this first you go to File – Save Movie to launch the

Save Movie Wizard. Then select the My Computer item, click the Next

button. Enter the name and choose the folder for the movie.

Click the Next button. Select the Other Settings options button. Select DV-AVI

from the drop-down list. Click the Next button to save the movie in this format.

Click the finish button. Done!

How to upload the video on the web

• Go to YouTube• Click Upload• Fill in the blanks –

name, description, etc

• Press upload the video

8 tips to prepare for a video podcast

1. Keep it short and simple2. No more than ten minutes3. Prepare props and graphics before hand4. Minimize background distraction5. Use a tripod6. Vary activities and shots to spark the interest7. Vary the camera angle8. Move slowly and make smooth topic transitions
