LONG THROW PROJECTOR

• Can be used for HD images.

• Cant be connected to computers, DVD, video cameras etc.

• Has ports for VGA cables, USB, kettle lead and phono cables.

Long distance projector means the further away from where it is

going to be played the biggest the screen gets. Images can be

flipped therefore can be projected from more convenient places.

SHORT THOW PROJECTOR

• Can be used for HD images.

• Cant be connected to computers, DVD, video cameras etc.

• Has ports for VGA cables, USB, kettle lead and phono cables.

Short throw projectors are more convenient when not much

space is available to use the projector because the image is

reflected off a mirror.

MATROX/QLAB

A Matrox works with Qlab to split an image or video onto up to three

different

Projectors. Qlad can only work through an Apple mac.

A Matrox can be used in theatre, for example in our production of ‘We Will

Rock You’ a Matox was used to play videos of dancing on two screens

and a third screen had pictures of the productions logo, this is because

the purpose is to make the production more astatically pleasing.
