How to generate Facebook App ID and App secret:

Step 1 – Type the URL https://developers.facebook.com/ in the address bar of your browser.

Step 2 – A window will appear of Facebook for developers as shown.

In the “My Apps” drop down menu located at the top right corner select the option of “Add new app”.

Step 3 – A new dialog box will appear titled as “Create a new App Id”. Here enter the display name you want to give to your app. Try going for the name “VidBuilderFX” for convenience. Enter your contact email. Kindly note, that the email shown here is a reference. You need to mention your own email id in the text bar provided.

In the option of Choose the category of your App - from the drop down menu provided choose the option of “Apps for Pages” and then click on the Create App ID button placed at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4 – A new window of “Product Setup” will appear. Click on the “Settings” option mentioned on the right of the page.

A new window will appear mentioning your App ID and App Secret key. It would be not be functional at the moment. You need to enter the App domain in the textbox provided as “vega6.co” and press ‘enter’.

Step 5- Click on the “+ Add Platform” button present at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6 – A dialog box would appear to select platform. Select “Website” option in the same.

Step 7 – As you click on the “website” option a Site URL text box would get active with a text box present along with it. Enter in the text box - https://vega6.co/ and click the button of “Save Changes” present at the bottom of the screen.

Step 8 –Click on the “App Review” option under the dashboard. It would ask you whether or not to make your app of “VidBuilderFX” public. Turn the slider shown below from NO to YES.

A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click on the “Confirm” button to proceed.
