Material Required: A round piece cardboard, colours, construction papers, scissors, a tape.Procedure: Draw a line from top to bottom and left to right. The meeting point of the line will be the

position of the Sun. Draw 8 circles around the centre and these will be the orbits of the planet. Punch a series of holes in the cardboard. Cut the circles to represent the Sun and each of the planets according to their size. Take a tape of length of a string to each planet. Lace the other end of the string through the

correct holes in the cardboard. Adjust the length of the strings so that the planets and the sun all lie in the plane.
