Terms and Conditions

Order Processing Placing Orders We request that all orders be faxed or mailed, or emailed to prevent errors and help keep phone lines open for customer service. If necessary, a verbal order will be accepted at the dealer's responsibility. Please include all information needed to process your order quickly, including: account number, type of product, etc. Color numbers are a must, due to a new software program which will only process by color number. Order forms are available upon request for your convenience. Changes & Cancellations: It is the policy of Custom Blind Fabricators not to accept order changes or cancellations for custom-made products. However, requests for changes or cancellations will be considered based on order status. Customer will be responsible for any costs incurred. Freight Damage: Dependable/UPS/Common Carrier If freight damage is visible, refuse the shipment. The carrier will inspect the package and return to Custom Blind Fabricators. Contact Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service for further information. If freight damage is concealed, retain all packaging materials and contact Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service immediately.

Claims & Returns Defective Merchandise All manufacturing defects must be reported to Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of blinds or shutters. We may require the return of defective blinds prior to repair or replacement. Incorrect merchandise If any part of your shipment was made incorrectly, please advise Custom Blind Fabricators Customer Service immediately. A replacement will be made at no charge if the problem was due to Custom Blind Fabricators error. OOPS: If the problem was due to dealer or customer error, the original order will be at full charge and the replacement order will be discounted an additional 10% for horizontal and vertical sheers and shutters, and 20% for all other products. Returns for Repair Prior to return for repair, contact Custom Blind Fabricators. We will request your account number, original work order number or invoice number, and type of product. At this time if necessary, a Return Authorization Number (RA#) will be issued. This RA# must accompany the repair in order to be accepted. Please write the RA# on the outside of the package. Repairs should be packaged carefully. Product that has been mishandled or received in poor condition will be returned to the customer. Charge backs for unauthorized repairs or additional installation cannot be honored. All chargeable parts and repairs are subject to freight charges.

Warranty

Every Window Treatment fabricated by Custom Blind Fabricators is to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product (vertical vanes are warranted for three years). Custom Blind Fabricators will repair or replace any defective parts or materials to the original buyer at retail (if installed in residential dwellings only). Custom Blind Fabricators reserves the right to have any defective materials returned before goods are replaced. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage or loss caused by abuse, misuse, improper installation, direct exposure to salty air, chemical fumes, extremes in

humidity, or the color change that takes place with the passage of time. It does not cover damage caused by cleaning methods that use abrasive solutions. Maintenance and cleaning of the blind must be in accordance with the instructions provided with the product. Colors vary from dye-lot to dye-lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases. Repair or replacement of defective products are your sole remedy under this warranty. In no event shall Custom Blind Fabricators be liable for transportation costs to or from the installation of the product. To obtain service under this warranty, return the product along with the original sales receipt.
