Computer sees the SMARTBoard as a giant touch screen ‘mouse’ device. Input data sent to the computer via USB.
Classroom can now project a computer video output for the whole class to see.
Classroom computer can be used for instructional
purposes. - Internet connection enables learning via interactive websites.- Software can be used as a learning and instructional tool.
Students can interact with
digital content naturally.
-Write using the SMARTBoard’s pens in digital ink on top of a digital image or diagram.- Save daily accessed calendars, charts, graphs, notes.- Touch, drag, manipulate learning objects to demonstrate understanding.
Helps students become active, not passive learners.
