• ASL has different kinds of verbs.– Plain verbs

• These verbs are the ones we have been working with where you have to state in the sentence the subject and object.

• Like inflecting verbs, spatial verbs allow the signer to change the direction of movement of the sign to indicate location, but the subject and object must be specified.
