We continue to strengthen our network withleading institutions, other incubators, venture investors and other stakeholders in thestartup ecosystem. This will provide better support system for ventures 

We are happy to launch the 1st edition of our newsletter, as an important step in thesame direction.   In this edition, we have brought snippets of news on events atVentureStudio, an interview with Deep Patel, founder of InterestShip and some otherinteresting news. The Entrepreneurial Gateway

The Entrepreneurial Gateway,   a workshopfor next gen and start up entrepreneurs, washosted by VentureStudio and EMBA AMSoMon 13th and 14th June 2015 at the Instituteof Engineering and Technology (IET),Ahmedabad University. 

More than 100 diverse participants includingundergraduates, graduates, postdocs, from

80 different colleges across India, including from IITs, NITs, NID, and workingprofessionals, participated in the workshop. Participants went through a idea to businessplan exercise in a highly interactive workshop. Eminent speakers from diversebackgrounds shared invaluable inputs on Entrepreneurship.

Q. What motivated you to start with "Interestship"?

Ans.  I was part of the fellowhip program at Venture Studio last year where I metShreyansh & Prajwal   who were working on the concept of InterestShip. We joinedtogether because it seemed a bigger problem to solve.

Q. What is the vision of "Interestship"?

Ans. Our Vision, is to create a culture where students make careers in their domain ofinterests.

Q.  How many hours a day/week you spend on work? what aboutfamily/hobbies?

Ans. We spend almost 12 hours to do what we love to!! Our families are in other cities,so we take some day offs to visit them.

Q. What kind of hurdles have you faced during your journey? And how did youovercome it?

Ans. Many! Funding for venture & funds for our own expenditure are the major ones. Butwe have very good support from VentureStudio, our friends and family ,which helps us tokeep moving ahead in this journey.

Q.What are the key company milestones that is to be achieved for next 6-12month?

Ans.  We reached 3000+ student registrations in the month of August and we startedexpanding to Pune. Our future plan is to expand it in other cities.

Q. What one and only one thing an entreprenueur must have in his/her mind?

Ans. "The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing"
