VELM è stata fondata nel 1961 e da allora è impegnata nel settore automobilistico, in parti di ricambio, accessori auto e sicurezza. La sede è ad Agrate Brianza (a ca. 30 Km - Nord di Milano) mentre, la società consociata, fondata nel 1990 si trova a Turnov (a ca. 100 km a nord di Praga – in Rep. Ceca). Attualmente il “core-business” di VELM consiste nella produzione di cinture di sicurezza per veicoli speciali, l’industria del sedile e i veicoli commerciali per trasporto di persone o merci, per veicoli militari, per sistemi integrati in sedili per conducente e passeggeri di bus, pullman, auto-carri, carrelli elevatori, autocarri, così come per veicoli pe-santi, macchine movimento terra e veicoli agricoli.

VELM è SInonIMo dI SICUREZZA, basata su oltre 40 anni di es-perienza. La società oggi esporta in più di 30 paesi nel mondo. Gra-zie alla cooperazione con la multinazionale Autoliv, società leader nel settore automobilistico, VELM ha accesso ad una più ampia gamma di componenti per realizzare i suoi sistemi di sicurezza. QUALITà, FLESSIBILITà E AFFIdABILITà così come lo sviluppo di cinture di sicurezza “su misura”, anche per piccole e medie quantità, sono per VELM di massima priorità. QUALITà E CERTIFICAZIONI I prodotti sono sottoposti a severi controlli sui materiali ed a prove di funzionalità durante la fase di sviluppo e prima della produzi-one in serie. Fra queste prove quella della resistenza meccanica, della durata nel tempo, test climatici e prove di corrosione. VELM assicura un costante livello di qualità con collaudi regolari della produzione corrente e verifiche di conformità sulle linee. I controlli a campione sulle merci in entrata garantiscono che solo componenti perfetti possano essere utilizzati nella produzione. Il processo manifatturiero si completa con una ispezione finale del 100% dei prodotti.Il sistema di qualità VELM è basato su ISo 9001-2009 e sulla CoP (Conformity of Production) pre-scritte dall’ istituto di omologa-zione. VELM garantisce la mas-sima qualità e l’affidabilità graziealle quali può ottenere facil-mente la conformità a qualsiasistandard internazionale, comead esempio CEE, FMVSS, SAE,ISo ecc..

QUALITy AND CERTIFICATESProducts are subjected to the strictest material and function tests during development stage and prior to serial application. Among these tests are: proof of mechanical stability, extended endu-rance tests, climatic and corrosion tests.VELM ensures consistent good quality by regular testing of parts from the current production, CoP (Conformity of Production). Spot inspections in the goods inwards guarantee that only parts of perfect quality will enter the production. QUALITé ET CERTIFICATIONSLes produits de VELM sont soumis aux tests de matériel les plus stricts et à des tests de fonctionnement pendant le développe-ment et avant la fabrication en série. Ces tests prévoient la résis-tance mécanique, la durabilité prolongée, les tests climatiques et les tests de corrosion. VELM assure un niveau constant de la qualité grâce à des ins-pections régulières de la production courante et des vérifications de la conformité de la production. Les contrôles sur les marchan-dises en entrée garantissent que l’on utilise seulement les com-posants parfaits dans la production. Le processus manufacturier termine par une inspection finale de 100% des produits.Le système de qualité VELM est basé sur l‘ISo 9001-2009 et sur la surveillance (CoP) et sur les contrôles de conformité de pro-duction effectués par l‘institut d‘homologation.VELM garantit la qualité excellente et la fiabilité, grâce auxquelles peut facilement obtenir la conformité à tous les standards inter-nationaux, comme la ECE, FMVSS, SAE, ISo etc..
