Longevity Research New Theory of Life

However, it is the first step towards the authors own research on Longevity, coming on the pages of SA with further two articles based on Late Shri Pravin Jagads Method of Longevity. 3 STEP Life Span Vedic Theory ( PART 1 )

Longevity is the most difficult subject in Astrology. Since five years I am doing hard research testing nearly all the methods in the classics and some novel methods e.g. Pravin Jagad system. For my humble opinion, the best methods are the methods given by Shri Pravin Jagad, Respected Shri Iranganti Rangacharyaji and Shri Manubhai Shah. If you first decide the probable lifespan to be SHORT, MIDDLE or LONG life and then use the systems given by the said

three authors, you will be able to predict the right period for exit from this world for a human being. Here I am presenting a new theory for Longevity using a new method to find a rough age estimate for lifespan. This is the primary broad estimate of span of the life and so I call it Pam-1.

In this theory, I have utilized D3 (Dreshkana), D9 (Navamsha) and D12

(Dwadashamsha) division charts ( ) for Life Span determination with good results. The pointers are the Lagna and Hora Lagna of all three varga charts above. The calculation of Hora lagna is taken as given by the Jagannatha Hora Software (freely downloadable from http://www.vedicastrologer.org). The preference for the calculation of Sun Rise is to be set as The tip of the sun is truly on the easten horrizon. Its the traditional Hora Lagna of Parasara. One could try to test it with other Hora Lagna too. The problems of using Rasi Chart in testing Parashara and Jaimini PAM block was that In the cases of twins born in less than a minute, the longevity was the same. So I decided to try the division charts using the Phaladeepika method with giving the Dwadashamsha Pam more importance. Lahiri Ayamansa has been used in all calculations.

STEP - 1 : In this method, to find out longevity of any native,, we have to make the three varga charts viz. D-3, D-9 and D-12 and note the signs of Ascendant and Hora Lagna. The author has used two pointers for three divisional charts viz. D-3, D-9 and D-12 each, i.e. three set of two pointers to decide the longevity. This gives total nine combinations for Longevity. The table showing all this combinations is given below as Table-1.

Step- 2 : Now as per above Table-1, check the signs of Ascendant sign and Hora Lagna of all three D-3, D-9 and D-12 charts. An example is shown in following Figures 1 2 - 3 to decide the longevity. As per the nature of the signs, find the Longevity for each of this Chart. Thus you find three letters for Longevity given by each divisional chart, as shown in Table-2. This Three Letter code is very important to find out the span of Life.

As shown in above example charts the three letter code becomes L-S-M.

Step-3: Now, the author has devised the Life spans estimates based on various combinations of this three letters code, as given in following Table-3.

For the above example, as per the Three letter code L-S-M, the Longevity is given as 34 y to 70 y. (Middle Longevity) - Editor]

If two groups indicate the same Longevity, it is taken as final. If all groups give different Lifespan, take the Dwadashamsha as final. This was applied on more than 200 charts of known personalities. The formula of ages is based on my research only.

Illustrations

Chart 1: Albert Einstein

He has lived up to 76 years. In the division chart D3 Lagna is libra and HL is Leo. a Cardinal and a Fixed signs give middle life = M. In D9 Lagna in Pisces and HL in Taurus Dual and a Fixed signs respectively, give Long life= L, in D12 Lagna in Capricorn and HL in Libra both Cardinal signs gives long life= L , so the formula is: M L - L and looking at TABLE-3 is, from 69y to 100y.

Chart 2: Indira Gandhi:

She has lived up to 66years. In the division chart D3 Lagna is in Pisces and HL in Scorpion a Dual and a Fixed signs respectively, so the life is long= L , in D9 Lagna in Pisces HL in scorpion a dual and a fixed signs so the life is long= L in D12 Lagna in twins HL in Capricorn a Dual and a Cardinal signs respectively, so the life is short= S ,so the formula is: L-L-S and looking at TABLE A is, from 62y to 93y.

Looking to the above charts, following table is made for determining Longevity.

Now, from this three letter code L-L-S, looking to Table-3, Indira Gandhis Life span is arrived as 62 y to 93 y. Readers are requested to test the charts in this way. We will discuss more examples in the next articles.

Chart 3: Galileo Galilei

He has lived up to 78 years .In the D3 chart Lagna is in Pisces and HL in scorpion a dual and fixed signs it gives long life = L , in the D9 chart Lagna in Aquarius and HL in Virgo signs a fixed and dual sign respectively, it gives a long life = L , in the D12 chart lagna is in Aries and hl in Aquarius a Cardinal and Fixed signs respectively, it gives a Middle life = M , so the formula is: L-L-M and looking at TABLE - 3 is, from 69y to 100y.

Chart 4: Maria Callas

.

She has lived up to 53 years . In the D3 chart Lagna in and HL in Pisces a dual sign so the life is middle = M in D9 Lagna and HL in Sagittarius a dual sign again is middle life= M in D12 Lagna and HL in Taurus sign and life is short= S , so the formula is M-M-S and looking at TABLE -3 goes from 33y to 67y.

Chart 5: Swami Vivekananda

He lived up to 39 years. In D3 Lagna and HL in leo a fixed sign it shows a short life = S , in D9 Lagna in scorpion and HL in libra a fixed and cardinal signs, it shows a middle life = M , in D12 Lagna in libra and HL in leo a cardinal sign and a fixed sign , it shows a middle life = M so the formula is in TABLE A : S-M-M = 33Y TO 67Y.
