Vedia Share Quick Guide Requirements for renting a car In order to rent a car, you need three things. You need an email address that ends with @nokia.com, a valid driver's license and a credit card. Once you have downloaded the app and agreed to the terms, it will ask for your email address. Once you have provided it, it will send you a token to the email address that validates your email. After entering the token, open the profile tab and enter your credit card information and take a photo of your driver's license via the app. The license will be validated by Vedia team during business hours. Once the license is validated, you are ready to rent a car. Booking and using the car with the app Booking a car is a simple procedure. Insert your start and end times for rental to the app's search tab, and press the search button. The app will display the available vehicles for the time period and allow you to book it for the period. Once booked the reservation will appear in the My Bookings –tab. A booking is made active by opening the booking from the My Bookings -tab and pressing "Start booking." The booking can be activated at the booking's start time. Once started, the app will allow you to open and close the doors of the car. Opening the doors also disables the immobilizer of the car, allowing you to start the car. Additionally, the app allows you to extend your booking, if there are no bookings after your booking, report possible damage to the car and end the booking. How to find/how to leave the vehicle The Share cars have marked locations for pickup and return at end of the trip at electric vehicle charging row on lower floor of Karaportti 2 parking hall. The Share vehicles are all marked with Rental 2.0 sticker (car colours may differ from app colours). We recommend that you reserve the car in advance, to ensure availability of vehicle.

Starting/stoppingthecar

Returningthecar
Youendthetripbyleavingthecartodedicatedelectric/non-electricparkingslotatNokiaparkinghall.Closethedoorsusingtheappandthenendthebookingfromtheapp.Onceyouhaveendedthebooking,theappwillpromptyoutopayforthebooking.PleasenotethatVediaShareCarscannotbedrivenoutsideFinland.
Refillingfuel
Thevehiclemustberefuelledtofulltankbyuserbeforereturning.
Chargingthebattery
Ifthecarischargingwhenyouarrive,thenopenthecarwiththeapporyourcard.Removethecablefromthecarfirst,andthenthechargingstation.YouchargethecaratNokiaparkinghallbyconnectingthecabletothechargingporttoachargingstation,withthecableinthetrunk.Openthechargingportonthecarwithalittlepush,andinsertthefittingendofthecablethere.Noticeifthechargingportinthecarblinkswithabluelight-thenthecarcharges.
Parking
Ifyouparkwhileonjourney,youpayanyadditionalparkingfee/finesorwhenrequiredpleaseusetheparkingdisc.
Pricing
Thepricesofthecarsarealwaysbilledinfullhoursandroundeduptothenextfullhour.Thehourlypricesaccumulateuntiltheforthhourofrental.Fourhoursisthedailymaximumpayment,forhours4to24thepricestaysthesame.Thecounterstartscountingafter24hoursandstartsthebillingcycleagain.Maximumtimeforrentalis72hours.Thepaidpriceincludesinsurance.
Damagereports
Ifthereisanydamagedonetothecar,pleasefillareportfromtheapptogetinsurancecoverage.Thereportallowsyoutosubmituptofourpicturesofthedonedamageaswellasawrittenreportofthedamage.
