In 1963 the winegrowers from department of Gard decided to join forces and gather together to create Vignobles & Compagnie, with the aim of promoting Rhone Valley wines. For over half a century, the men who created this ‘Company’ have shown real commitment in helping the partner wine-growers to reveal the very best of the great terroirs of the Rhone Valley.

1963: Creation of the Winery.

1969: The Merlaut family acquisition (Taillan Group)

1990: First partnerships with winegrowers.

2017: V&Co becomes a winegrower at Le Château des Sources.

The latest in this line by VIGNOBLES ET COMPAGNIE is a true reflection of the Winery’s values and personality. It is a genuine and contemporary cuvée with that touch of boldness which characte-rizes great wines… To emphasize its singu-larity, the labels bear an orange ribbon which also highlights our signature. The ribbon represents the precious aspect, like a gift for yourself or for others. The orange hue was a symbol of gastronomic pleasure and appetite for life even back in the Middle Ages. And still today it is associated with creativity, optimism and an open mind. It is also a shade that hints at the warmth of the south and Provencal tradition.

In a digitalized world, Vignobles & Compagnie is offering a return to your roots, in what is making the very best/ essence of our winemaker profession: terroir, landscape and envi-ronment respect. These new cuvees “Nos Origines” came from our partnership with engaged winemakers who have made the choice to follow organic farming principle. This wine variety highlights these principles with our encouragement through our winemaker work, a conscien-tious raising and a cleaned package. The vineyard branch looks like the one we can see in the medicinal guide of Köhler and remind us our first commitment that is to serve Men and Nature.
