VCC 3rd generation technological innovations:
•
• Compact electronic, 45% smaller than the VCC 2nd generation;
• Drop in solution application to conventional on/off compressors,
consisting of immediate and proportional compensation according
to system thermal loads;
• Compatibility with electronic and electromechanical thermostats (on/off);
• Easy assembly, compatible with EM and EG shells;
New controller with greater processing capacity; • Reduction in consumption during compressor stop time;
• Flexibility in connections to existing systems;
• Electronic module occupies less space, and comes in two assembly versions:
direct coupling to the compressor (FENCE) and separate
(STAND ALONE, similar to the VCC 2nd generation),
which does not have a naked plate version;
• 12V DC-4W DC outlet available (optional);
Since its launching, in 2001, Embraco's Variable Capacity Compressor has represented the lowest consumption and
is considered the quietest on the market.
The main characteristic of this compressor series is the electronic device it is equipped with for measuring temperature
variations and adjusting its functioning to system needs while in operation, providing better food conservation due to the more
stable temperature inside the cabinet.
Through selecting the operating speed range (1600 to 4500 RPM) and the compressor's automatic and continuous variation
within this range, the EMBRACO VCC is able to provide the most efficient and economical performance. This continuous action
significantly reduces energy consumption, as opposed to the conventional “on/off” compressor, a great energy consumer.
The evolution of this segment is the EMBRACO VCC 3rd generation: the “Intelligent Compressor” that:
(VCC)
Results in an energy consumption reduction of up to
45%, if we replace a conventional compressor (on/off)
with an Embraco 3rd generation VCC.
It has the best energy efficiency on the market (high
efficiency at low rotation - VEGY and VEMY series) and
a capacity/efficiency from 5 to 7% better than the
EMBRACO VCC 2nd generation.
Considerable reduction to noise levels in the pull down
system thanks to speed control.
Application indicated for domestic refrigeration systems
in R 134a and R 600a, in 115 and 220V and 50 and
60Hz frequencies.
Provides more flexibility in customized solutions though the
inclusion of even smaller products (VEMY) and the use of
electronics already coupled to the compressor.
Enables multiple electrical connections, providing easy
application, only requiring small alterations to the
refrigeration system design, with low investment in
productive processes.
• Auxiliary AC outlet;
• Able to be configured via software, storage of compressor
and refrigerator parameters in non-volatile memory;
• Minimized electromagnetic noise, according to
IEC/VDE/UL standards;
• Free from electromechanical noise in the electronics
(VCC 2nd generation - relay removed).
