An ordering appointment in my home studio at yourconvenience! Your images will be revealed to youin a beautiful slideshow, I will show you my beautifulcustom products, and help you select the imagesand products you want! Your products will be in yourhand about a week later (sometimes even sooner)!
A relaxed and low-key session with plenty of timeto let the kids run and play or for your newbornto eat and snuggle. No pressure and no stress!Just you enjoying being with your family and medocumenting the joy and craziness that comes fromthat!
A pre session phone consulation to design yourideal portrait session! This includes topics likewardrobe, locations, candids and poses, etc.We will also discuss what type of products youwant for your home and for keepsake!
So, what’s included?
- Leave a little early so you don’t feel rushed
- Bring a few snacks and favoritetoys for the kiddos. The key is to hide these fun bribes until they are necessary during your session!
- Bring a change of clothes, just- Bring a change of clothes, just in case!
- Plan to spend about 60 minutes at your session just hanging outwith your family having fun!
How to prepare for your family session!
- Book the session well in advance. Most clients book newbornsession 3 - 6 months in advance!
- Contact me once baby has arrived or when you first arrive home. Baby’s session will ideally take place 5 - 12 days afterbirth and will last for about 1.5 - 2 hours.
- For little boys, if you will be circumcising, the session will ideally take place before this or at least 2 - 3 days after.ideally take place before this or at least 2 - 3 days after.
- When you first arrive at my home studio, or when I arrive to your home, it’s best if you feed baby right away. We will alsokeep the environment very warm (around 80 degrees, so dressin layers if possible)!
How to prepare for your newborn session!
Fresh 48 - Takes place in your hospital room within 48 hours of birth! We oftenhave the opportunity to captureyour brand new babe’s first bath,first visit from grandparents andother family and friends, and other family and friends, and beautiful interactions betweenbaby and mommy and daddy!
Newborn Session Types
Studio Newborn Session -
These sessions take place in my Bonney Lake homestudio and last up to 2 hours. These sessions aregeared toward gorgeous posed images of yoursweet new baby! You also have the opportunityat the end of the session to have parent and sibling images!sibling images!
Lifestyle Newborn Session -These sessions take place in your home and arepredominantly candid. You will have gorgeousimages of your beautiful new baby sleeping in theircrib, being rocked by mommy or daddy in a nurserychair, or just spending some time cuddling on mom and dad’s bed or the couch! We will definitelymom and dad’s bed or the couch! We will definitelytake some posed images, but they won’t be elaboratelyset up like we may be able to do in a studio session.
4. In about a week (or less) aster your ordering session, you will have your beautiful heirloom pieces in hand!
3. Aster your session, we will setup a date and time for your ordering session! All orders will be placed at this session. Any orders placed aster the appointment will be subject to an archival fee.
