Recent Series in VANThe Blues and Canucks have traded wins and losses over their last 6 meetings in VAN with each team posting 3-3-0 records. Theseries in BC has been extremely tight with the Blues outscoring the Canucks 13-11 while the shots on goal see the Blues with a oneshot advantage, 171-170. The teams traded shutouts in their two games from last season with the Blues earning a 3-0 victory on Oct.26 and the Canucks winning a 2-0 decision on Mar. 1. For the Blues, it was their first shutout in VAN since Mar. 9, 1998. One of thebright spots for the Blues over that past half-dozen meetings has been the PK which has allowed only one goal on 19 VAN attempts.  Race to 3Since Jan. 27, 2010, the Blues are 4-4-1 vs. the Canucks. Of those 9 meetings, the team to score three goals has won 8 of them while6 of the 9 have ended in a 3-2 score. The lone outlier in the race to 3 was the most recent meeting, a 2-0 VAN win on Mar. 1, 2012.  Overall, since that point, the Blues are 83-17-8 when scoring three or more goals while VAN is 111-11-10. Oshie’s Rare Night vs. VANT.J. Oshie recorded 3 pts (2-1-3) and a +3 rating in their meeting on 11/4 (3-2 Blues W) last season. He was one of 3 NHL players tolog such a stat line vs. VAN last year (Matt Cullen, Jason Blake). Since 2009-10, only 14 players have had such production in a gamevs. the Canucks and 5 of the group are or have been Blues including Oshie, Alexander Steen, David Perron, Andy McDonald and BradBoyes. Across franchise history, the list also includes Scott Young, Pavol Demitra, Brett Hull and Pierre Turgeon
