    VISITOR ATTRACTION MONITOR 2011 OverviewThe following table shows the total number of visits to 649 visitor attractions in Scotland in 2011 andshows the split between those who visited paid and free admission attractions, including and excludingthe National Museum of Scotland (NMS) and the new Riverside Museum (Riverside), in the FreeAdmission categories, which have both impacted positively on 2011 visits figures.
