LIFE OF THEHADEAN

Because of the horrific conditions of

the Earth during the Hadean eon it is

not likely that life existed at all.

If any life existed during this time, it

would have been very undeveloped,

having formed and then most likely

quickly destroyed. This would also

destroy any chance of scientific

findings related to this life since none

of it survived. You, mighty Time

Travelers, will be the first to

SURVIVE (turn to survival page).

EARTH OF THE HADEAN

The term Hadean is derived from the

word Hades which means hellish.

And it definitely was.

The Earth was still forming during theHadean Period, which meant that

many geologic processes were still

taking place.

Barely a planet yet, much of the

surface was still liquid, and it was

constantly being bombarded with

meteorites and asteroids, as well as

the occasional planet. Also there wasmuch volcanic activity.

ENVIROMENT OF THEHADEAN

Our time machines are going to have

to be very special and unique, for our

tour of the Hadean is going to be one

in which we never leave our craft,

and we never are exposed in any

way to the outside environment.

If we happened to set foot outside we

would incinerated by the

temperatures, reaching up to 500F

(240C). However you would also

suffocate in the atmosphere filled

with Carbon Dioxide, Hydrogen andWater Vapor.

Overall the Hadean

Eon was not a Friendly

Place.

But the trip is fun :)
