VAG Group PINCODE Reader

The AD36 PINCODE Reader fromAdvanced Diagnostics has beendeveloped as a standalone device thatinterfaces with a PC and allows the pincode to be read from VW, Seat andSkoda vehicles with a system 1immobiliser fitted, (6 pin connector).

The system 1 immobilisers that the pin code can beread from can be identified by the 14 digit immobilisernumber that contains Z3Z in it.

To read the pin code from these units the actualimmobiliser must be removed from the vehicle, whichis a fairly simple process. Once this pin code hasbeen read, keys can be programmed into the vehicleby using an Advanced Diagnostics key programmingtool.An operating manual is provided which details theprocedure for removing the immobiliser and readingthe pin code. If you already have AD keyprogramming equipment, AD36 is an essentialaddition for your tool kit and it will earn it’s keep withina few jobs.
