Currently, there are 63 EYCA members in our associ- ation including our PG students. The office Bearers N.Nagasudharshanadevi, D.Prakash,K.Harish,S.Anukiraha those who are elected by the stu- dents are introduced in this inau- guration meeting. On 4th November 2020, the inauguration is carried over online by ZOOM applica- tion. The declaration of the presi- dent is carried over by Mr.N.Nagarathinam,Head of the Department. And the president of the function is Dr.C.Mathalai Sundaram, Principal,Nadar Saras- wathi college of Engineering and Technology,theni. Following to that the office Bearers are introduced by Mr.N.Nagarathinam,Head of the Department. He Introduced N.Nagasudharshanadevi, as presi- dent of EYCA, D.Prakash as vice president of EYCA ,K.Harish as Secretary of EYCA and S.Anukiraha as Joint Secretary of EYCA, in front of EYCA Mem- bers. Then the felicitation address was given by Dr.C.Mathalai Sundaram, Principal,Nadar Saraswathi college of Engineering and Technol- ogy,theni.He stated by a wonderful line, “That workers will not lose in their life. He started his speech that all the students need to improve their skills by participating in the competition. He was told that there is more opportunity for engineers”. He also speaks that if we are going to speak to others, we must know how to talk, that what we like and what others like. The primary focus of the depart- ment is to empower our students with overall development. We, the Team – Civil are working with the following objectives: To nurture the students with multi-dimensional skill sets. Each student is focused through a Mentor – Mentee Scheme where students are emphasized for good academics, placements and participation in co-curricular activities. The faculty members are encouraged to publish research papers in reputed journals, participate in Faculty Development Program and workshop through a well-supported system and students are en- couraged to participate in webinars, symposium and conferences. VISION Build professionals & entrepreneurial skills to lead socio-economic domains. MISSION 1.Practice sustainable environment to meet professional challenges with ethics. 2.Mentor students for innovative thinking with relevance to civilization. 3.Interact consistently with the industries to work on problems. 4.Endeavour for excellence in all facets of civil Engineering. VISION : Place for Technology Revolution MISSION: Promote and undertake all - inclusive developments. Develop high quality technical education with academic excellence and innovative research with ethics. On 9th November 2020,Our department Faculties are get on site to inspect a finished structure of L.S Mills.

The inspection is carried over using the Rebound Hammer test and this test carried over to inspect the strength of the concrete provided on the structural member.

The rebound value is determined during the inspection and the compressive strength is determined by correlating the value with the graph.

This consultancy work is only carried over by our institution around Theni. This test is carried over for the surface which is not plastered to determine the concrete strength.
