Separate checks are not necessary. Summer Music Camp First United Methodist Church, Conway and Kingston Presbyterian Church will sponsor a Summer Music Camp for rising 1 st -6 th graders. The camp will be Monday, August 4 - Friday, August 8 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Kingston Presbyterian Church located on Third Avenue in Downtown Conway. Campers will learn the musical, Tale of the Three Trees, a cantata for young singers by Allen Pote and Tom Long, and will present it on Friday, August 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Kingston. The evening's activities will include performances by the campers showcasing the arts- related activities learned throughout the week and will end with an ice-cream party. The public is cordially invited to attend. Musical directors and accompanists will be Billy Fallaw, Director of Music and Organist at FUMC, and Ann Miles, Staff Accompanist at CCU. Other daily activities will include Recreation, Bible Study, MelodyChimes, Handbells, Interpretive Movement/Dance, and Graphic/Visual Arts. The non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 (which covers a t-shirt for the performance, snacks and lunch on Friday) must accompany the registration form. Registration forms are available in the offices of Kingston and FUMC and online at fumcconway.org. Lake Junaluska Singers

The Lake Junaluska Singers are

coming to FUMC Conway this

Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale and available

by calling the church office and in the

Commons on Sunday mornings.

Tickets are $10 each general

seating for 18 yrs. old and up.

Youth 17 yrs. old and under are free

and childcare will be provided

for infants-4 yrs.

Nursery Attendant: First United Methodist Church in Conway is

seeking a nursery attendant to care for our children ages 4 and

under. Schedule is 9:30-12:30 every Sunday with occasional

weekday duties. Attendant will play with the kids and keep them

safe while their parents are attending services. Experience with

Child Care Specialist: First United Methodist Church in Conway

is expanding our children’s activities by offering a weekday child

care program. We are seeking a part time Child Care Specialist to

provide direct care to children under the age of 4. The candidate

must be passionate about education and able to lead a classroom

on a daily basis. Experience in a child care program is required.

Handbell Workshop

A handbell workshop will be hosted at FUMC for young ringers in

grades 4-8 this week, June 16-19 from 10:00-Noon and for adult

ringers June 16-18 at 6:30 P.M. Registration for these workshops

may be made by calling the church office or emailing

[email protected]. Registration is required. The

young ringer’s workshop is limited to 12 ringers.

The Journey Seekers Sunday School Class will be providing and serving dinner to the Rivertown Salkehatchie on Tuesday, June 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall! Great Job!
