To preser ve our world-renowned design purit y and honour the ‘DB’ legacy, we dis t i l led As ton Mar t in design down to i t s very essence and used it to create something evolved and fresh. Something called DB11. Ins tant ly recognisable, i t s design looks inherent ly r ight , yet s t r ik ingly dif ferent . Familiar element s have evolved and developed to create new and dis t inc t ive features for DB11. A t ruly iconic s ignature, the s t r ik ing f ront gr i l le has been reinvented, i t s l ines ampli f ied into a markedly dominant feature, a power ful symbol of the ex tent to which DB11 has moved the game on. Bringing harmony of form and func t ion, the new innovat ive air f low sys tems, the Curlicue and As ton Mar t in Aeroblade™ are key to the car ’s aerodynamics, channell ing the wind to reduce aerodynamic l i f t and enhance s t abil i t y. The c lamshell bonnet i s a cont inuat ion of this fear less design philosophy. I t s wraparound form minimises unsight ly shut- l ines for a pure, sculptural quali t y rarely seen. In a delight ful spec tacle, the ent ire bonnet hinges forwards to provide an except ional v iew of the magnif icent engine beneath.

DB11’s body s t ruc ture was designed to be s t ronger, safer and more dynamic than i t s predecessor. An increased wheelbase enables the engine to be posi t ioned fur ther back for near-per fec t weight dis t r ibut ion. Underpinned by a new bonded aluminium body s t ruc ture that combines l ightness and s t reng th, DB11 set s a formidable new s t andard for spor t ing Grand Tourer s . DB11 exploit s i t s inner s t reng th and immense per formance with a completely redef ined chassis, suspension, s teer ing and elec t ronic s. Revised suspension with adapt ive damping and mult ip le dr iver- selec table dynamics enrich DB11’s adaptabil i t y.

I t encompasses ever y thing that makes the DB11 the epitome of luxury spor t s grand tourer s, with the addit ion of open-top driv ing pleasure. The high per formance 4.0 - l i t re V8 twin- turbo engine is a powerhouse, generat ing an impressive 503 bhp and reaching a top speed of 187 mph. The DB11 Volante has been engineered to deliver a broad scope of abil i t ies . Great levels of per formance and handling accentuate the spor t ing s ide of i t s charac ter, while i t s ref inement and except ional ly craf ted inter ior space ensure i t remains a consummate Grand Tourer. On mountain pass or t ree- l ined boulevard, under blue sky or night sky, the DB11 Volante present s the per fec t space to appreciate an exhilarat ing dr ive on the open road – roof up or down.

Opening the advanced fabric ‘K- fold’ sys tem l i f t s the l id on the beaut y around both driver and passenger. Designed with a highly advanced roof sys tem, the DB11 Volante i s ut ter ly uncompromised with i t s beaut i ful, faul t less ly f lowing roof l ine seamless ly integrated. The Volante roof can be operated from the dr iver ’s seat or, for added convenience, can be remotely opened or c losed from the key. When closed, eight layer s of insulat ion mater ial s engineered into the design ensure that the roof canopy is acous t ical ly enhanced and of fer s complete cabin comfor t . New s t y l ing features enhance i t s v isual appeal too, with the choice of a br ight or dark tonneau f inisher.

With an increased wheelbase compared to i t s predecessor, DB11 of fer s luxurious space for both driver and passenger s al ike. In the Coupe, f ront seat occupant s enjoy 10 mm of ex t ra headroom while rearwards, a 54 mm increase in headroom and 87 mm more legroom make DB11 a t ruly comfor t able space. With a luggage compar tment that has room for two golf bag s and rear ISOFIX point s for the f i tment of two child seat s, DB11 deliver s on space. For Volante, our engineer s worked hard to ensure the roof mechanism is both s t y l i sh and durable. The s t ack height of the ful ly folded roof i s a c la ss - leading 260 mm, enabling a smooth seamless rear prof i le and maximised luggage capacit y. The design f rees up more rear occupancy space and, l ike i t s Coupe counterpar t , a l so convenient ly includes rear seat ISOFIX a s s t andard.

Inside DB11 you’re met with a beaut i ful, calm and private space. Sumptuous natural mater ial s, the highes t levels of craf t smanship, comprehensive c l imate cont rol and infotainment technology provide the ul t imate in comfor t and convenience. The inter ior can be per fec t ly t ai lored to you, thanks to an inspir ing palet te of colour s and a va s t array of detai l ing opt ions. Seat back veneers are available in a choice of woods or carbon f ibre, a l lowing a cont inuat ion of the design inspirat ion from the front cent re console and inner door veneers to be mirrored into the rear environment of the car. On the DB11 Coupe, the A s ton Mar t in Aeroblade™ harnesses air f low along i t s f lank s and through i t s integral C-duc t feature to enhance s t abil i t y at the rear. While the Volante’s design does not carr y the aerodynamic C-duc t of the DB11 Coupe, the innovat ive deployable ac t ive spoiler remains a feature on the rear deck l id, automat ical ly ac t ivat ing when required to provide high-speed s t abil i t y in s imilar fa shion to the Coupe.
