INTRODUCTION
This book is a supplementary book to the Core Cold War Rule set, it is designed to add Independent Force lists and their equipment.
The lists are to add further character to the existing lists, and cover alternative forces in the European and Scandinavian Theatre. Many of the lists lack heavy armour and are made up of significant amounts of Medium Armoured Vehicles and this adds further depth and flavour to fighting with these forces.

The Austrian Army is was small , it was not able to buy ATGM's and consequently put emphasis on
armoured forces. I t's small mountainous Territory and would be difficult ground in any confl ict, and so
maximum use of Hull down positions and obsolete tank turret emplacements would have been used .
You must take at least three platoons in the Kampfgruppe Column in any force, and may only take a
maximum of one platoon of each of the REGIMENT and BRIGADE Support options.
