The present invention relates to binding molecules, such as human monoclonal antibodies, that bind to influenza virus comprising HA of the H3 subtype, such as H3N2, and have a broad neutralizing activity against such influenza virus. The disclosure provides nucleic acid molecules encoding the antibodies, their sequences and compositions comprising the antibodies and methods of identifying or producing the antibodies. The antibodies can be used in the diagnosis, prophylaxis and/or treatment of an influenza virus H3N2 infection. In a preferred embodiment, the antibodies provide cross-subtype protection, such that infections with H3, H7, and/or H10-based influenza subtypes can be prevented and/or treated.

A method and apparatus that monitors and controls an operation of an electricity meter an prevents a failure of and/or damage to the electricity meter. A potential failure condition of an electrical connection between an electricity meter and a meter socket in an electrical line that provides power from a power supply to an electrical load through the electricity meter, is detected. A correction time may be determined based on a temperature in a vicinity of the electrical connection and a current through the electrical connection. The correction time indicates an amount of time that is available before a predicted failure of the electrical connection will occur. The method determines whether the electricity meter is in an imminent failure condition based on the correction time or the information used to detect the potential failure condition of the electrical connection. The method may provide either, or both, notification of the imminent failure condition and disconnection of power to the electrical load by operating a disconnection switch within the electricity meter when it is determined the electricity meter is in the imminent failure condition.

A solar cell management system for increasing the efficiency and power output of a solar cell and methods for making and using the same. The management system provides an electric field across an individual solar cell, an array of solar cells configured as a panel, or a group of solar panels. The imposed electric field exerts a force on both the electrons and holes created by light incident on the solar cell and accelerates the electron-hole pairs towards the electrodes of the solar cell. Compared to conventional solar cells, these accelerated electron-hole pairs travel a shorter distance from creation and spend less time within the solar cell material, therefore the electron-hole pairs have a lower likelihood of recombining within the cells' semiconductor's material. This reduction in the electron-hole recombination rate results in an overall increase in the solar cells' efficiency and greater power output.
