2019 ALLEN VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION Athletic Physicals (9th-12th Grade): Complete after May 1, 2019 and before first day of Tryouts

Freshman Camp (9th Grade): June 17th – 20th / 1:00 – 4:00pm @ AHS (Cost $70)

Prep Camp (9th-12th Grade): July 29th & 30th / 8:00 - 11:00am & 1:00 - 3:00pm @ AHS (Cost $125 )

July 31st / 8:00-11:00am

September 2nd, October 14th & 28th: Labor Day & Teacher Work Days / Student Holidays. Volleyball players will still

have practice. Teams have scheduled volleyball matches these weeks on Tuesday and Friday.

before you are allowed to run or try out.

August 1st: 9th – 12th Grade Running: 6:30 – 7:30am (9th - 12th @ AHS Track)

Athletes will be required to run 1 x 800 yd. shuttles and Run (1X5) x5. The running times will not keep the athlete

from making the team but will keep the athlete from competing in a match. Times must be under the following:

Shuttle times: 3:30 min. = Varsity 3:45 min. = JV Team 4:00 min. = Freshman Team 1X5 times: 2:45 min. = Varsity 3:00 min. = JV Team 3:15 min. = Freshman Team

9th – 12th Grade Tryouts: 7:30 – 10:00am @ AHS

9th – 12th Grade Tryouts: 1:00 – 3:30pm @ AHS

August 2nd: 9th Grade Tryouts: 7:30 – 10:00am & 1:00 – 3:30pm @ AHS

10th – 12th Grade Tryouts: 7:30 – 10:00am & 1:00 – 3:30pm @ AHS

August 3rd: Scrimmage/ Practice @ Allen HS 9:00-11:00 am (9A, 9B, JV and Varsity)

Mandatory Parent/Player Meeting (Potluck) with Coach G @ Allen Service Center 1:00pm 9A, 9B & JV: at least 2 pair of sliders, 1 pair cover shorts, 1 Team cover up, 1 Game Day Tee, white knee pads

We would like to thank you for taking part in our process of completing athletic participation

paperwork online. This automated process will allow us to be more efficient in handling the

forms as well as saving valuable resources.

• To access the online forms hold your curser over the “Electronic Participation Forms” tab. You

will get a drop down list of the forms.

• Click on the form name and fill out the information requested. You must have your student’s ID

number available, as it is required on each form. DO NOT USE ATHLETE NICKNAMES ON

FORMS. FULL LEGAL NAME ONLY.

• To sign the document, click inside the signature box and hold your mouse over the box. This will

allow you to create an “Electronic Signature.” If you make a mistake and need to start over, click the

refresh icon next to the signature box.

• Once you have filled out all the information on each page, including your email, you will have the

opportunity to print the document for your records.

• You will receive a confirmation email for each document once the document has been completed.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT SCHOOL FOR YOUR ATHLETE FOR THE

UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR.

• Note for physicals: All physicals should be completed on the current up-to-date UIL Pre-

participation Medical History and Physical Form after May 1st. Print the two-page form. Complete

the Medical History form and take them to your doctor at the time of the physical exam. Allen ISD

requires a physical annually.

All high school and middle school athletes must turn in their physical forms to the coach of your

son/daughters sport at their campus. Physicals must be on file for athletes to participate in a practice

session for all 7-12 grade students.
