LIVE AUCTION
BIDDING. To bid on an item, just raise your bid paddle. When a winning price is reached, please keep your
paddle raised so that we can identify the winner(s). If you are a winner, write down the information on your Bid
Sheet: the item number, item title, price (each), and number of them bought. Please make sure that your writing
goes through to the second page.
PROXY BIDDING. If you are unable to attend the auction, you can still bid! Just ask someone to bid for you.
Tell them the maximum amount you are willing to pay. And remind them to get an extra bid paddle having a
unique bidder number for you.
MINIMUM BIDS. Many of the offerings incur high costs to the donors or a large amount of energy. To ensure
that the Fellowship receives a price commensurate with the effort, some of the items have minimum bids
assigned to them. If bidding does not go high enough for these items, the auctioneer might nudge you to meet
the minimum.
PAYING. Take both copies of your bid sheet to the check-out table. Cash, checks, and credit cards are
accepted. Be sure to include your Auction Express items, also! (Please keep in mind that credit cards cost the
church 3%.)
COLLECTING YOUR WINNINGS. It is the donor’s responsibility to contact the bidders. All services expire
after one year.
