Issues we have faced
• A bigger change for staff than we anticipated• Overwhelmed them with a 50 page document• We got caned • Conflated with Turnitin issues• But, staff were not engaging in PD• Had to offer more personalised training • But, we have a plan to make further improvements• Identified future development:
– Moderation – More filtering options – extensions, late submissions, not
yet released– Identification of downloaded assignments– Configure downloaded submissions into directories
Conclusions
• Hoping that some of these innovations may be deemed worthy for inclusion into core
• Most of the issues we faced were not due to bad functionality
• Different way of supporting staff and students• Need to be conscious that most teachers are
really busy
