Using Fotobounce with Flickr
Flickr can be accessed from the navigation panel located on the left side of the
Fotobounce window by clicking on Login.
The first time you select Flickr, Fotobounce will prompt you to enter your Flickr login
credentials. Enter your login information, then click on the “Sign In” button.
Flickr will then offer two options. Click on the “Next” button beneath the option that asks if
you arrived at this page because you specifically asked Fotobounce to connect to your
Flickr account.
Flickr will then ask if you are sure you want to authorize Fotobounce to access your Flickr
account; upload, edit and replace photos in your account; and interact with other
members’ photos. Click on the “Ok, I’ll authorize it” button.
Once you have authorized Fotobounce, close the authorization confirmation window.
You will now see three options displayed under Flickr in the navigation panel. They are:
to view your Flickr contacts; to view your Flickr albums; and to logout of Flickr.
Selecting “Contacts” from the Flickr options will display thumbnails of your Flickr contacts.
You can view your contacts’ Flickr photos by double-clicking on their images. Two tabs will
be displayed: “Albums” and “Photos”. The Albums tab displays all of your contacts’ Flickr
albums. The Photos tab displays all Flickr photos for your contacts.
Double-clicking on an album’s thumbnail will display all of the photos contained within the
album. The photos can then be viewed full-screen by simply double-clicking the
thumbnail.
Selecting “Albums” from the Flickr options will also display two tabs: Albums and Photos.
The Albums tab displays all of your Flickr albums. The Photos of tab displays all of your
Flickr photos.
Photos or entire albums can be downloaded to your computer by highlighting them and
selecting “Download” from the Edit pane. A window will prompt you to select a destination
in Fotobounce. You can choose to create a new album or add to an existing album. Once
the album is selected, a file transfer window will launch. Albums and photos can also be
uploaded to your Facebook account by selecting the “Upload to Facebook” option in the
edit pane.
Albums and photos can be uploaded to your Flickr account by highlighting them and
selecting “More”, “Upload”, then select “to Flickr” from the Edit Pane. This launches the
file transfer window.
