Using App to Read ProQuest EBook Central @ Your Mobile Devices

• Go to the Library Homepage (https://library.hsu.edu.hk) and click “Databases A-Z”, then select “EBL”, “ebrary” or

“MyiLibrary”.

• Please make sure that you are using Campus’ computers, HSUHK-WIFI or VPN connected devices before entering the

database.

Step 3: Create ProQuest EBook Central Account

Please use HSUHK email

account for registration.

Step 1: Download “Bluefire Reader” to your mobile devices

Step 2: Login or Create an Adobe ID

• Please authorize with your Adobe ID.

• To get an Adobe ID, please click “Create an free Adobe ID”.

You may use your own

email account for

registration.

• Click “Create Account”

after entering the

database.

1. Type your search term into the search box.

Step 4: Checkout and download an eBook

2. Find an eBook you want to download. And then,

select to download the full eBook.

3. Follow by the instruction and

choose the device and type of

computer you are using, then click

“Continue”.

4. Choose “Done with this step” if

you downloaded Bluefire Reader.

Otherwise, select “Get Bluefire

Reader”.

5. Click “Download Your Book” to

get the full download.

6. Open the ebook in “Bluefire Reader”.

7. Once the download is complete ,

you can view the eBook on the

bookshelf of “Bluefire Reader”.
