Learning PlatformsLearning Platforms
Learning Platforms are secure online sites that can be accessed in school or at home, using secure individual log ons, allowing
teachers to track each individual's learning.
Children are able to work at a level of ability that meets their needs whilst exploring the activities set by the teacher.
(Becta, 2009)

Assessment & Assessment & Attainment Attainment
The National Curriculum (1999) states that ‘during key stage 1 pupils explore ICT and learn to use it confidently and with purpose to achieve specific outcomes. They start to use ICT to develop their ideas and record their creative work. They become familiar with hardware and software’.
The majority of pupils are expected to be working within the levels 1 – 3
The expected attainment level at the end of key stage 1 is level 2
