1.2 Keesing Documentchecker Introduction
Keesing Documentchecker provide access to the world’s most comprehensive reference
database for ID documents and banknotes.
The database contains detailed descriptions and high resolution images of thousands of
passports, ID cards, driving licenses, visas and banknotes from over 200 countries and
organisations.
Keesing Documentchecker provides information, including their security features, to
verify the authenticity of documents.
To safeguard the quality and completeness of the database, Keesing Technology
cooperates closely with international government agencies.

2 Working with Keesing Documentchecker
2.1 Logging in
Type the URL https://www.documentchecker.com in Internet browser.
Select the desired language by clicking on the associated flag. Enter the account name,
user name and password to gain access to Keesing Documentchecker.
After logging in, Documentchecker shows your personal home page. Here you can find
your subscribed modules, e.g.: Identity Documents, Banknotes and/or Banknotes Alert.

2.2 Buttons
In the toolbar you can find the following buttons:
User settings: To change your personal information and/or password.
General information.
Contact form: To contact the Keesing Helpdesk.
Home button: Return to your personal home page.
Logout button: Use this button to logout Keesing Documentchecker.

3 Banknotes Click the Banknotes button in the home window to access the Banknotes module.
The latest newsletter is shown.
3.1 Banknote selection
If you would like to authenticate a Banknote you can find the corresponding reference in
the following ways:
• searching on issuing country with the ‘Select country’ selection box,
• searching on monetary union with the ‘Select monetary union’ selection box, or
• searching on the currency code in the ‘Currency code’ selection box.
Click the ‘Banknote Identifier’ button to identify currency written in exotic languages.
The overview of the banknote can be displayed in Table or Thumbnails mode using the
‘Table/Thumbnails’ button
Click a Banknote to see more detailed information.

3.2 Banknote window
The Banknote window provides detailed information to authenticate a Banknote.
In the toolbar buttons are available to switch from front to back, see the ultraviolet
reaction and the infrared reaction, the security feature locations and details overview.
3.3 Security Features details
Click a security feature from the image or the details overview for more detail
information. You can walk through the security features using the forward/back buttons
or the security feature selection button.

3.4 Note text
The Note Editor allows your Super User to add remarks and notes. There are three levels
to which notes can be added: newsletter, country and banknote level.
Click the ‘Note text’ button to open the note viewer. If greyed-out there is no note
available.

In the toolbar you can find the following buttons:
Previous Page button
Banknote Identifier button: To identify currency
written in exotic languages
This table lists the different series and types of USD notes, and their corresponding signatures
Thumbnail/Table button: Switch between thumbnail /
table detail overview
Side sector: Select the front or back
UV button: Shows the banknote ultraviolet light
image
IR button: Shows the banknote Infrared light image
Details overview button: Shows the security features
details overview.
Security features button: Shows the security features
location
Banknote Alert: Switch to Banknote Alert module
Note text: To view a note your super user made for
the newsletter, a country or banknote. If greyed-out
there is no note available.
Newsletter Archives button
Newsletter button: Shows the latest newsletter
Help button
Contact form: To contact the Keesing Helpdesk. Your
questions will be answered during West European
office hours.
Home button: Return to your personal home page.
Logout button: Use this button to logout Keesing
Documentchecker.
In the banknote security detail window you can find the following buttons:

Previous and Next button
More/Less details button
Details overview button
