IntheboxyouwillfindaniXpandBasewithapremium,sturdymetalbody,along

withfastchargerwith6ftcableandanUltraSDcard(32,64,128&256GB).Connect

thecabletoawalloutletononesideandtotheMicroUSBslotintheiXpandBaseon

theother.NowtheBaseisconnectedtopower.

TheHomescreenallowsyoutoquicklyviewyourbackedupcontentaswellasthemain

tasksthatcanbecompleted.Thenotificationbellatthebottomrightcornerletsthe

userknowifthereisanycriticalactionthatneedstobeperformed.Bypressingthebell

youcanaccessthesenotificationswhichwillallowthemtododifferenttasks.

Toaccessquicklytothecriticalnotifications-whenthebellhasareddoton it.

BackUpandRestoreselectionwithintheappallowsyoutokeepyourmemoriessafe

whilegivingyouaccesstothiscontent.Onceyouhaveallowedaccess,youriXpandBase

isreadytobackupthephotos,videosandcontactsautomatically.Assoonasyour

iPhone/iPaddeviceisconnectedtoiXpandBase(providedtheBaseisconnectedto

power),itwillstartchargingwhilealsolaunchingabackgroundfunctiontoscanand

startbackingupcontentfromyourphonewithoutevenaccessingtheapp.Youwillseea

notification“Backupstarted”.

SincetheiXpandBaseappbacksupthecontentwithoutevenlaunchingit,itgivesyouahasslefreeexperience.Whilethedevicecanworkwithoutanyuserinteraction,youcanstillopentheapptoverifyprogressandasuccessfulbackup.

Youcanalsopausethebackupatanytimebytappingonthepausebutton.

BackingUpmaytakelongerthannormalthe1sttime.Oncesetup,onlynewlyadded

fileswillbecopiedtotheiXpandBase.

RestoringPhotos,Videos&ContactstoaNewiPhone

YoucanchoosetodoafullorselectiveRestoreusingyouriXpandBase.TheRestore

functionalitywillbeperformedusingthealreadyexistingfoldersonyourBase.

andfreeupmemoryspaceofyouriPhone/iPaddevice.Theredstatusbaratthetop

ofthescreenwillgiveyouthestatus.

DeviceFirmwareUpdate

SanDiskrollsoutregularappupdatestoconstantlyimprovetheuserexperience.

WhenafirmwareupdateisavailableandthedriveisconnectedtoaniPhoneoriPad
