Use of water soluble fertilizer for better crop nutrition

3
Use of water soluble fertilizer for better crop nutrition LECTURE ON Fertilizer is the most critical input for increasing crop productivity. Conventional chemical fertilizers, which are applied in crops as basal soil application and/or topdressing have low use efficiency (not more than 20-30%). The excess unused fertilizers become a potential threat for environmental pollution. The use of water soluble fertilizers having high use efficiency may become a solution for these dual issues. The water soluble fertilizers may be applied to each and every plant in different formulations depending on their requirement by various methods viz., fertigation, foliar spray etc. However, lack of knowledge about the benefits of these fertilizers hinders the farmers to use them in the large scale. The aim of this webinar is to sensitize the undergraduate, post graduate students as well as the faculty members about the formulation, customization and application of the water soluble fertilizers for sustainable increase in crop production. tn Date:16 December 2020| Wednesday from 11:00am (IST) onwards REGISTRATION: INSTRUCTIONS: REGISTRATION FEES: Nil Registration may be done as per the following link: https://forms.gle/4MQZpJbmGmR5nuXi9 E-certificate will be issued to those who will attend all the lectures and submit the feedback form Interested candidates can register by link given here on or before 15.12.2020 upto 04.00 pm.
