Use of Photoshop

I wanted to edit the background out of the image for my contents page so that the background was white, so it was consistent with the rest of the page. This colour also matched the house style.

To do this I selected the magnetic lasso tool, which allows you to draw around the shape/object you want to keep and delete the rest of the image.
