We started this process in 2013 by appointing our first international licensee for Florida. In a very short time period this franchise has established a series of Soccer Leagues, which have well exceeded our initial expectations and proved that both the brand and the business model can be equally successful in the States.

Our Business Model

Income is derived from charging teams a weekly match fee. Experience in the UK and Florida has shown that after all the fixed costs have been deducted (pitch hire, referee’s expenses etc.) a healthy profit margin of around the 40-50% mark can be generated.

Leisure Leagues Franchise offers the opportunity to earn a full time wage from working just part time hours. The product sells itself and as there are now more people playing small sided soccer than the traditional 11 a side game the potential is huge!

The success we have seen previously, has derived from our strong infrastructure and support system when combined with the enthusiasm and local perspective provided by the franchisee.

The Local PerspectiveBeing ‘local’ allows you to promote for new teams as and when you need. You may already have contacts within the soccer communities near to you from which you would be confident of recruiting teams. If not, you are well placed to maintain brand awareness in your community, with our support.

As a local franchisee you are also in a position to build strong, long-term relationships with partner facilities. These relationships will help you develop your Leisure Leagues franchise and exploit your area’s full potential by developing new leagues. As a local franchisee you will be in a position to visit your leagues on a regular basis, allowing you to manage your business effectively and therefore ensuring the highest levels of customer service are achieved.

Single UnitAt the moment we are offering Single Unit Leisure Leagues Franchises throughout Florida, starting from $10,000. The Territory is based on a county and the estimated initial investment required to operate a Single Unit Franchise ranges from $13,500 to $28,500. If you meet with our net worth, operational experience and other requirements, you may also qualify for a larger Single Unit Territory within Florida, based on a series of counties in a defined area.

Our infrastructure is second to none within our industry and our fully interactive website receives around two million visitors each year. Our highly rated smartphone app has also proved to be a great success and offers a whole new medium of communication with our players.

After receiving full training at our UK HQ during a rather cold and dismal February they jetted back to the sunshine of Orlando to begin putting their training into action.

Less than six weeks later they had recruited more than 40 teams for their first three leagues. These leagues are now well established with several seasons played. Their league portfolio has also developed with further leagues started at a variety of locations including a Women’s league.

Their success has proved that our brand and business model can be profitable overseas.

Our training course covers all aspects of the small sided soccer leagues business including:

In addition to this initial training we also offer ‘on the job’ training in the form of a promotion training day where you ‘shadow’ one of our experienced team recruitment staff and learn how to effectively recruit new teams. This training day takes place within your area, so will benefit you directly in developing your business as well.

After your training, we are with you every step of the way with our dedicated US head office support staff.

Insurance can be a minefield and that is why as part of our training we offer to guide you through this complicated area.
