Known issues

GPRS Sometimes, in specific areas, GPRS session is not open due to Specific network conditions, seen only by one operator in ITALY

KFSFILE AT+KFSFILE=4,"/" command always answers 0 byte instead of correct folder size

VOICE CALL When answering an incoming voice call, the remote person cannot hear the voice coming from the person on module side, seen only in China

SMS AT+CMGL cannot list SMS sent/unsent stored in module memory

PLMN Some PLMNs missing when using AT+CPOL? command if more than 32 PLMNs

KCELLSCAN AT+KCELLSCAN=2 returns wrong value when Band is PCS1900

Known limitations

ECALL Ecall services not available for this software release

PCM PCM Digital Audio not yet available

FOTA FOTA Services not available for this software release

PHONEBOOK Phonebook not activated in “ME” (Module). Shall be stored in “SM” ( Sim Card)

BAUDRATE After software upgrading with autobaud data rate by default, UART data rate is set to 115 200 bauds. Could be changed by AT Commands “IPR”

NETWORK Time to Network registration when Sim card has been changed is longer than usual



Known issues

SMS Sometimes, during endurance tests, the modules get frozen after a SMS reading in SIM card by AT+CMGL

FTP Upload of more than 150 Kb data makes sometimes module disconnect from FTP with time out

CREG Only in China, module registered to home network, CREG returns wrong value 5 (roaming indication)


Known issues

DATA CALL Rarely, when answering a CSD data call, the module may display some unexpected characters just after CONNECT indication

DATA CALL When incoming data call, ring tone is still ringing after ending the data call by ATH (data call not answered by ATA)


FLOW CONTROL Only just after SW upgrade, default setting for flow control set to NO is not taken into account and remains Hardware flow control, new AT&K0 is needed

SMS AT+CMGL=0 may not list all the UNREAD SMS when SMS stored in Sim card

POK_IN After the module is powered on, the voltage level of POK_IN does not remain high (different from HiLo V1)

KPLAYSOUND Sound playing is not interrupted by ringtone when incoming a call

SIM CARD Some new sim card from MOBISTAR are now supported

KSIMDET PULL UP can be set by +KGPIOCFG

AUDIO Range of +VGR and +VGT has been changed

ATD*99# Uses the PDP number 1 by default

GPIO Initial states of GPIOs have been changed to match with HiloV1 behavior

RING TONE Ring tone is activated on an incoming call


AUDIO Audio behavior is now identical to HiLo V1

Software Flow Control

In some cases the SW flow control ( AT&K4) does not work in TCP

MUX AT+CMUX commands are now responding on all cases


NAME Constructor name returned by software is now SAGEMCOM (instead of SAGEM), example: AT+CGMI

RESET Programmable Reset is now possible using +KRST
