    START/FINISH SOLDIER FIELD SOUTH PARKING LOTTravel (East) heading out of South Lot to Lake Front Trail

    Turn (North) heading along Lake Front Trail

    Underpass of Lake Front Trail (under E Solidarity Drive)

    Around John G Shedd Aquarium on Lake Front TrailRight (North) on Upper Lake Front Trail Path

    Concrete area East of Buckingham Fountain

    (Obstacle #1, Hydration Station #1)

    Continue North on Upper Lake Front Trail

    At Grassy Area just West of Columbia Yacht Club

    (Obstacle #2 (#4 here as well upon return))

    At East Randolph make a left onto E Randolph

    Make a right onto North Lake Shore Drive

    Travel in the North Bound Lane (Mid Span Bridge) to East Illinois Ave

    Make right onto one curb lane/sidewalk (Lake Front Trail)Follow path to the front of Navy Pier (West Side)

    Make Right onto East Grand Ave

    Turn Right (East) onto East Grand Ave (sidewalk + one lane)

    Turn Right (South) at first cross through at Navy Pier

    Turn Right (West) along Navy Pier South Walkway

    Turn Left (South) at entrance/exit to Navy Pier, follow sidewalk along the pier

    Turn Right (West) into grass field at South Marine Harbor

    (Obstacle #3, Hydration Station #2, Transition #1)

    Exit South Marine Harbor through trees back to Lake Front Trail

    Left (West) onto Lake Front Trail

    Left (West) onto Lake Front Trail on sidewalk to Stair CaseLeft (South) onto Lake Front Trail on sidewalk along Shore Drive

    At grassy area just west of Columbia Yacht Club

    (Obstacle #4 (#2 here as well))

    Continue South on the Lower Lake Front Trail

    Concrete area East of Buckingham Fountain

    (Hydration Station #3 (near Hydration Station #1))

    Continue South on the Lower Lakefront Trail

    First Right toward E. McFetridge Dr, on West side of the Aquarium

    Slight right followed by slight left to access E. McFetridge crosswalk

    After crossing E. McFetridge Dr. turn right (West) on sidewalk

    Run West on Sidewalk toward North Entrance of Soldier Field (Ramp)

    Follow Ramp in North End of Soldier Field Stadium

    (Obstacle #5/Stair Climb)

    Exit Soldier Field (Gate 0) and make a right turn

    (Obstacle #6, Hydration Station #4)

    Enter Stadium Green travelling (East)

    (Obstacle #7, Transition #2)

    Exit area to sidewalk making a left (North) following along Museum Campus

    Drive Continue to E. McFetridge and then turn right (East) to cross Museum

    Campus Drive

    Turn right on the Lake Front Trail and head South

    Turn Right at Sled Hill to run up the steps, then down the zig zag paved pass

    Turn right to continue heading South on the Lake Front Trail.

    Turn right on small path just south of East McCormack Place (2-way traffic) tograss lot south of McCormick place

    (Obstacle #8)

    Loop back to stairs and across small path (2 way traffic) to access Lake Front

    Trail

    Right (South) on Lake Front Trail to area just north of Beach Area/East 31st

    Street

    U-turn on Lake Front Trail to head back north on Lake Front Trail (2 way

    traffic)

    Left Turn on paved road just south of Bird Sanctuary south of McCormick Place

    Right Turn on East sidewalk of Fort Dearborn Drive (no running on road)

    Continue back into grass field south of McCormick Place

    (Obstacle #9, Hydration Station #5)

    Exit grass field on Northwest side, turn right to run up McCormick Place stairs,

    continue East around to stairs to access Lake Front Trail (heading North)

    Traveling North on Lake Front Trail to East Entrance of South Lot at Soldier

    Field Turn left (West) into South Lot running around lower area of parking Lot

    making a right at west traffic lane to head north in lot, run to north end of lot

    then U-Turn to access Finish

    (Obstacle #10, Finish Line, Finish Festival)

    You must go over all plastic barricades.

    Go under all blue police barricades without knocking the barricade down or lifting the top cross bar off.

    You are not permitted to go around any of the obstacles.

    Racers must crawl under the camo nets.

    Go under all blue police barricades without knocking the barricade down or lifting the top cross bar off.

    Move through the tire portions of the obstacle "stutter-step" style, touching the ground inside of each consecutive tire.

    You are NOT permitted to skip a tire or run on top of the tires.

    You are not permitted to go around any of the obstacles.

    OBSTACLE RULES

    Get up and over the "Marine Hurdle" rungs.

    The outside support structures are off limits at all times. Both feet must touch the ground between each rung.

    If you are unable to complete the Marine Hurdles, proceed to the TRX Penalty Zone where you must complete 20 low rows to continue.

    Go under all blue police barricades without knocking the barricade down or lifting the top cross bar off.

    OBSTACLE RULES

    Traverse the monkey bars and get to the other side without touching the ground. No skipping rungs permitted. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt,

    you are required to make another attempt. If your second attempt proves unsuccessful, Race Staff will direct you to the Six Star Penalty Zone, where you will

    be required to complete 6 push-ups and 6 burpees before being permitted to continue on with the event.

    Racers must step up on to parallel bars and hand walk to traverse the parallel bars to the other side without touching the ground. If you are unsuccessful in

    your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt.

    You are not permitted to go around any of the obstacles. Those who violate course elements must return to the beginning of the obstacle and start over.

    OBSTACLE RULES

    In the order shown, get up and over the taxis, buses, under the chain link and over the wall, but never around any element of the obstacle course.

    You are required to face the buses and climb down the cargo nets to descend. Absolutely no jumping is permitted from the bus obstacle or the top of the

    wall. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification from the event. Please use the infrastructure provided to safely climb down.

    You are not permitted to use the support structures which stick out from the walls to assist you.
