1969 First Integral Traffic Plan and Cycle Path Network Plan

1972 Decision of the City Council to retain and expand the tram

network

1973 Converting the city centre into a pedestrian zone

1979 Integral Traffic Plan: Equal priority given to all modes of transport

1983 The first new tramway line starts operating
