The Faces Behind Diamond Hits Entertainment.....written by Diamond Hits Ent. CEO Monique Lewis

Me and my partner Leroy Coleman founded Diamond Hits Entertainment after the success of our digital radio station “617 Hip Hop Live” that was created with one goal in mind which was to

give artist a platform where they could be heard. The station did very well and had a ton of guess from major artist like Fred the Godson, Gudda Gudda, Short Dawg, DJ Holiday, and many more.

Thru the success of the station, And from building and forming strong relationships with a variety of industry key makers. Diamond Hits Entertainment

was formed. Our company is an Artist Management, Event Planning and PR Firm. While still attending school pursing my Music Business degree, I’ve been able to learn and gain knowledge in all aspects of

those areas. I work to develop innovative marketing techniques customized to each client’s needs/situation and develop fresh unique career/company outlines with the client’s best needs in

interests. Since the start we have only seen positive results with each person we work with,

and we will continue to guarantee nothing but the best from Diamond Hits Entertainment. So if your

career or company needs a boost or your need help planning your next event please don’t hesitate to

Booking Agent- Booking agent’s assists the management is locking in paid performances for the artist. Booking agents usually earn 10% for each show booked.

Attorney- Attorneys are needed to look over contracts and you can use them as a consultant for different business ventures. When ever legal advice is needed its good to have them on hand.

Artist Feature: Leezy The Warrior

Devonte Mcgee, better known as Leezy the Warrior. A fresh, young, ambitious 19 year old artist coming out of South Ms, (Hattiesburg). This young man was raised up in a constant struggle. Being from where he is from he decided to channel his energy into something much more bigger than him. He's a very intelligent young man with many aspirations to succeed. He has been motivated from all obstacles of his lifetime. If you were to ask any of his friends why he does what he does, they would most likely say because he's passionate about music, his struggle is real and he's a very talented young man. Although, he's a southern boy, his sound is easy to relate to. Being from where he's from, he has been motivated to take matters into his own hands. Growing up into a single parented home of 3 children and low income, he had to learn many things on his own. He never had the best relationship with his family; nevertheless, he continued to express his artistic views about life. He managed to let the streets father him but still stay humble to his immediate family. He learned a lot from his childhood. He soon

ran into a unique group of childhood friends who he's been with since day one. They call themselves FlawlessSwaggENT or (TFS)gang. These young, good looking and outstanding group of gentlemen first took their city by storm with a very different style of dance. This is where Devonte (Leezy the Warrior) found his true passion. With his skills progressing rapidly, he developed into a hot young rapper. He's been spreading his sound for over 2 years now and still going strong. He started rapping at 15 years old and soon progressed into a full blown artists at the age of 17. Focused and determined with a well rounded plan, Leezy the Warrior is spreading rapidly through the streets with a unique style and conquering many challenges. He expresses his struggle and outlooks through his music, it's all quality with non- stop work. He lives by the motto "Everything happens for a reason" therefore he's in no rush to get nowhere fast. He seems to just be having fun with these experiences, while still conducting good business. He's also a college student with a superb grade level. He's been doing everything on his own lately, so he's very independent but doesn't mind being helped out. Strong potential, there is no reason why this artist shouldn't be signed.

“IT’S NOT OKAY.’’

That is the message going up on billboards around the city next month as part of an anti-violence awareness campaign by the Boston-based Mothers for Justice and Equality.

The signs, which feature smiling pictures of youths who were slain, were unveiled Saturday morning in Faith Christian Church in Dorchester at an event attended by Mayor Thomas M.

Menino, Councilor Ayanna Pressley, and other city officials. The billboards show one or more victims,

their ages, and towering letters that say “Violence . . . IT’S NOT OKAY.’’
