KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs – Toddler, Low Kar Chun, who has been missing since New

Year’s Eve, was found with his maid at a house in Serdang yesterday.

The boy’s father Low See How rushed to the house after receiving a call from the

maid’s friend saying that both of them had come to her home by a taxi about 4 p.m.

“My son just ran to me when he saw me. Kar Chun didn’t let go of me. I am so happy

and thankful that he is still alive and not hurt,” Low told reporters at his flat in Selayang here

yesterday.

Low, a hawker, said that the maid Eny Endrawati, 32 told him that they were on the

way to the laundry shop near the flat last Monday when four men forced them into a car and

took them to a house in Klang.

“However, they managed to free themselves today and escaped. The maid took my

son to the house in Serdang where her friend paid for the taxi fare as she did not have any

money,” said Low, who is a single parent.

He said the maid did not return to the flat as she had been afraid he would scold her.

“I believe her story and willing to have her continue working for me as she is a good

and responsible maid. We treat her like a family member. However, I will let the police

investigate the case first,” he said.

The police had detained the maid for further investigation.
