The extension allows :

Create UPS Shipping Labels in Fully Automatic Mode – labels create when order submitted;

Create UPS Shipping Labels in Bulk mode - bulk creation from Orders‟ page by one click;

Create UPS Shipping Labels in Manual mode - create manually Shipments and Labels;

Create UPS Shipping Labels and Pickups in Test Mode and in Real Mode (billable Labels and Pickups); completely pass UPS Certification Process (you will receive docs with the extension);

Create and print UPS Shipping Labels, even if UPS shipping is disabled in your Magento® System and you use Flat Rates or Table Rates for Customers;

Fill Address Book - create up to 10 addresses for Shipper and Ship From;

Generate UPS Shipping Labels for every Shipment, use Multishipment and Multipackages, store and delete generated Shipping Labels in your Magento® System;

Automatically create Packages to every product in an order (as setting);

Automatically insert Tracking Number into the Shipping Information block of the Shipment;

Save the cost of shipment (created UPS shipping label) in the shipment‟s table;

Note: The extension can not create labels for Dangerous Goods (this is not supported by UPS Shipping API).

Configuration

After Installation You Have to Configure the Extension:

Go to System -> Configuration -> left menu column -> Sales -> UPS shipping labels

Here you have to enter your UPS Account info and configure all settings you need to use. Mandatory fields are in blocks:

Your UPS Account Credentials;

Default Packaging Settings;

Default Shipping Settings; And you have to fill at least one Address and use it for Shipper and Ship From. Other settings we setted up the most frequently used values.

But, please, look all of them and change according to your needs. Your UPS Account Credentials

Please note that when using the UPS APIs the user ID can be case sensitive. The user ID becomes case sensitive when requesting negotiated rates and voiding shipments.

Shipper Number * Please, enter in these fields you UPS Account info. Be sure, that UPS supports Shipping API in your country (look country list here - and click on Shipping API).

Test Mode (Yes, No) - please, use only “Test Mode=Yes” before you pass UPS Certification Process and will ready to create real billable labels. Then turn into“Test Mode=No”. Default Packaging Settings

Create packages for each Product in an Order? – manage quantity of packages, depending on quantity of products in an Order. For Automatic label creation.

Create packages by product attribute? – allows manage packages by special product attribute. You have to create special attribute, which determines quantity of packages for this product. Then, select this attribute in the next setting:

Attribute – select attribute, which determines quantity of packages for product(s). You have to select Packaging Type and enter Packaging Description. You may enter Packaging Reference 1 and 2, which will desplay at the bottom of labels; You can set Bar Code for both.

Default Shipping Method for International - choose the shipping methods which be used by default for Domestic and International shipments

Use the Compliance of Methods – on the separate page you can make couples of compliance: which UPS Service (UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, etc) will be used automatically for wich shipping method

for customer (Flat Rate, Free Shipping, etc.);

Shipping description - select value for Shipment Description

Default Shipper address * - select address from your Address Book as Shipper address

Default Ship from address * - select address from your Address Book as Ship From address

Validate Address: - If “Yes” – UPS validates Ship To address up to street level; - If “No” – UPS validates Ship To address more rougher: only at region level (only Postal Code/State combination validation would still be performed);

Add tracking number automatically ? - select “Yes” if you want automatically add Tracking Number to shipment information

Saturday Delivery – you can enable Satureday Delivery service; Return Labels

Printing “Return label” by customer? - this function allows customer create and print the return label

from his / her account

Refund - If you choose “Yes” – you have an opportunity to use Refund function for order. If you select “No” – you can‟t make refund for order

Create return label by default - select “Yes” if you want to create Return Label automatically, simultaneously with forward label

Order amount for default return label, from - enter minimal of order amount, when Return Label will be created automatically (only if you select previous setting as “Yes”)

Default shipping method for return labels - select default shipping method for Return Labels Weight & Dimensions:

Weight units - select LBS of KGS as default weight units

Pack weight - you may enter here default weight of package, if it was not included in products weight

Include dimensions - select “Yes” if you want consider packages dimensions is shipment rate (dimensions of each package you can enter immediately before label creation)

Default unit of dimensions - select units of dimensions measurement

Default Package Dimensions - select one of pre-created given size packages;

Attributes for width, height and length – if you created special attributes, which determine dimensions of product, please, select them here.

Note: A shipment cannot have a kgs/in or lbs/cm or ozs/cm as its unit of measurements

Rates & Payments:

Payer – who will pay for shipments: Shipper or one of Third Party Payers

Default Currency code - enter currency code for default

Duty and Tax charges - select “Yes” if you want to include Duty and Tax charges in the shipment rate

Negotiated Rates - special contract prices for UPS clients; you should select “Yes” if you have contract with UPS about negotiated rates

COD (default) - select “Yes” if you want to use COD function for order

Additional Handling - previously our module has added the Additional Handling price to shipping price. Now we separate the Additional Handling price from total shipping price and give the customer an opportunity to operate this function

Adding Insured Value automatically You have an opportunity to select in Configuration options whether he will add “Insured Value” automatically or not. You have an ability to edit “Insured value” in special field at Shipment setting page. If you select YES in Configuration options – the extension will add Insured Value automatically. (But still have „Insured Value‟ field auto populated based on order total under COD monetary value field at “Shipment setting page”). This will give you the option to adjust that value slightly if he/she wants to. If you select NO in Configuration options – in Shipment setting page (this page appears before he pressed UPS label button for create label) will appear new input field exactly below “COD monetary value” field – where admin can edit the insured value by himself. (“0″ will be the default).

Send InvoiceLineTotal (for shipments from US to Canada and PR only) The InvoiceLineTotal is “Customs Value”. As UPS said, this value is summary of cost of all products in invoice without tax and shipping, so it is “Subtotal” of an order. The module sends with this parameter the Subtotal value as InvoiceLineTotal only for Canada and PR shipments.

Carbon neutral - UPS Carbon Neutral offers the option to offset the carbon emissions associated with the transportation of your shipment. This service is offered to shippers in certain countries. You can choose it if required.

Payment Conditions of Duties and Taxes for International shipments You can select who pays duty and taxes for shipment: - shipper pays transportation fees and receiver pays duties and taxes - shipper pays both transportation fees and duties and taxes

Quantum View Notification:

Quantum View Manage gives you a comprehensive look at every aspect of your shipping activity, online–right from your desk. This is a rapid notification about changes in your shipment‟s status. You select the e-mail addresses and the events (Ship, Exception, or Delivery). You or your customer will be notified when any one of those three events occur, reducing “where is my order” phone calls. Your customer service agents can be automatically made aware of shipments which may be delayed. At the same time, your Accounting department will know when the shipment has been delivered so that they can invoice your customer.

Quantum View Notification Enable - you have an opportunity to start use this function or not

Notification Code This option allows you to choose the required Notification code for your shipping. Return Notification or Label Creation Notification, QV In-transit Notification QV Ship Notification

Shipper Email - you should enter the email of shipper

Delivery Confirmation UPS will provide you with evidence of delivery in your choice of these options: - Delivery Confirmation: UPS will mail you a confirmation of delivery without a signature. - Signature Required: UPS will obtain the recipient‟s signature and provide you with a printed copy. You may also view the recipient‟s signature online. - Adult Signature Required: UPS will obtain the adult recipient‟s signature and provide you with a printed copy. Adult recipients must be at least 21. You may also view the adult recipient‟s signature online. - USPS delivery confirmation: Delivery Confirmation service lets you find out the date and time your First-Class Mail parcel, Priority Mail item, or Package Services parcel was delivered or, if delivery was attempted but not successful, the date and time of the delivery attempt. Please choose the Delivery Confirmation type most suitable for your shipment.

Printing Settings:

Print type : - Image and PDF - EPL2 - SPL - ZPL - STAR Select label format for printing.

ZPL, EPL2 – special formats for Zebra printer. You can print these formats by Zebra printer, directly connected to your computer by USB. You have to enter your printer name (strongly as it named in Printings Settings of your computer).

To print ZPL, EPL2 labels by Zebra printer you have to install on your computer free plugin (2.0 version): https://qz.io/download/

Automatic printing of ZPL, EPL2 labels by Zebra printer is possibly only via Internet. Your printer needs to have external IP and Port.

Bulk printing: select what labels will be printed during bulk printing - All labels - Unprinted labels only

Paper size - A4 : label will be printed horisontally on the bottom of A4 paper - A5 : label will be fitted on all A5 pape

Pickup Options:

Close Time * - closing time of your company‟ office where UPS have to pickup the package

Ready Time * - opening time of your company‟ office where UPS have to pickup the package

Pickup Date Year * - specify the default year when it is necessary to pick up the package

Pickup Date Month * - enter the default month data of pickup

Pickup Date Day * - you may indicate the default planned pickup date

Alternate Address Indicator * - this indicator allows choosing the appropriate address for pickup. - Original pickup address, - Alternative pickup address

Service Code * - please, select the required Service code for UPS shipping method which you use

Quantity * - please indicate the quantity of packages

Destination Country * - you should choose the destination country

Container Code * Package, UPS letter, Pallet

Weight - you should enter the total weight of packages

Unit Of Measurement - you should choose the unit of measurement – LBS or KGS

Overweight Indicator - indicates whether or not at least one package is over 70 lbs or 32 kgs

Payment Method * For countries and (or) zip codes where pickup is free of charge, please submit 00, means no payment needed as payment method. If 01 is the payment method, then ShipperAccountNumber and ShipperAccount CountryCode must be provided. If 03 is selected, then CreditCard information should be provided. If 04 is selected, then the shipper agreed to pay for the pickup packages. If 05 is selected, then the shipper will pay for the pickup with a check or money order.

Special Instruction - special handling instruction from the customer (1…57 length)

Reference Number - information entered by a customer for internal reference (1…35 length)

Notification Enable - you can choose to receive or not e-mail notifications when your requests are approved or denied by administrators

Confirmation Email Address - Email addresses to confirm the pickup. No more than five email addresses are allowed. Enter separated by commas

Undeliverable Email Address - enter the email address where the notification should come when the goods are not delivered.

International Paperless Invoice:

International Units of Measurement – select value from drop-down list;

Product Commodity attribute id – enter id of product‟s attribute, which contains Commodity Code of the product;

Default Product Description – enter here default text; if empty, Product Name will be used here;

Product origin country code – select country for all your products, which have no country attribute; otherwise country of manufacture will beused;

Automartic Labels Creation: You can configurate independently Automatic label creation and Bulk label creation:

Note: if you use extensions WebShopApps MatrixRate or Premium MatrixRate, they may conflict with automatic labels creation. Manual labels creation and other functions works without problems.

Enable – use or no automatic creation of the UPS shipping labels, simultaneously with Order submit;

Create Labels for Shipping Methods – select for which shipping methods UPS shipping labels will create automatically;

Create Labels for Orders Statuses – select for wich order statuses UPS shipping labels will create automatically;

Сreate a package for each product? – if “Yes”, extension automatically creates packages for each products in a shipment;

Create packages for product attribute? – if “Yes”, extension can create packages, for several products, where was created special attribute and specified quantity of packages and their weight For example: 3.5;2,2;1.8 means 3 packages with weight 3.5, 2.2 and 1.8 (lbs or kgs – as specified in configuration.

Attribute code: code of created attribute for multipackages;

Send Tracking Number in customer‟s email – if “Yes”, Tracking Number will be sent to customer in email with shipping information automatically;

Settings for Bulk labels creation:

To create labels for many orders simultaneously:

On the order‟s page select all orders you want to create labels.

Then in Actions select “Create UPS labels for orders” and click Submit.

Labels will be created for selected orders in accordance with these settings.

Additional Settings:

Add column “Status” in order grid? – adds column with UPS labels creation for this order in the orders

table;

Add column “Price” in shipment grid? – adds column with price for created UPS shipping labels in shipments table;

Add column “Price” in credit memos grid? – adds column with price of created return UPS shipping labels in Credit Memos table;

Flagged “Create UPS label” by default – when you create UPS shipping labels manually, on a Shipment page check box “Create UPS label” will be checked by default;

Order status after label creation – you can select what status will be assigned to Order after UPS shipping label creation;

Billing 3rd Party:

Go to: Sales - Billing 3rd Party Here you can create, edit and delete 3rd Party Companies and Persons who can pay for your shipments instead of Shipper.

You can select Payer on the page immediately before label creation see Labels Creation).

Labels Creation UPS Shipping Manager Pro allows you to create UPS Shipping Labels in three modes:

Fully Automatic mode – automatic creation simultaneously with orders submit;

Bulk mode - bulk creation directly from the Orders‟ page;

Manual mode - manually create shipment(s) and then generate label(s);

Fully Automatic creation of the UPS Shipping Labels, as soon, as order

submitted: First of all, you have to check out filling of all configuration info in Configuraion Page (System->Configuration->left menu column->Sales ->UPS Shipping labels). Please, be sure, that labels are created with your settings in Manual Mode.

Go to: Sales->Orders

In Configuration page set in the block Automatic labels creation – “Enable=Yes”. Now, when customer submits order, extension creates shipment and UPS shipping labels, by default settings in Configuration. Note, that in Automatic Mode:

Labels will be created on the base of default settings;

Will be created only 1 Shipment per order with all products;

Will be created as many Packages and label(s), as was setted in Configuration.

Note: if you use extensions WebShopApps MatrixRate or Premium MatrixRate, they may conflict with automatic labels creation. Manual labels creation and other functions works without problems.

Bulk creation of the UPS Shipping Labels: First of all, you have to check out filling of all configuration info in Configuraion Page (as described in Fully Automatic mode).

Select orders for which you want to create labels;

In drop-down list “Actions” select “Create UPS Labels for Orders”

Press button “Submit”

The extension will create Shipments and Labels for all selected Orders. All created labels will be downloaded in one PDF file and ready for printing. In column “UPS status” will appear “Successful”. If case of failure label creation, in appropriate cell of “UPS status” column will appear error description, received from the UPS. Note, that in Bulk Mode:

Labels will be created on the base of default settings;

Will be created only 1 Shipment per order with all products;

Will be created as many Packages and label(s), as was setted in Configuration.

Manual creation of the UPS Shipping Labels: Open an order and press “Ship” button to create new shipment. At Created shipment page at Items to ship table you have an opportunity indicate amount of products you suppose to include in current shipment. If order consist of several products you can devide it into separate shipments. You can create UPS Shipping label for each shipment. Then at the Created shipment page you should ticks Create UPS label (bottom of the page) and press the Submit shipment button:

After that you follow to the Shipment settings page:

The Shipment settings page has 7 blocks:

1. Add Package, 2. Package 1…n Options, 3. Configuration options, 4. Configuration Weight and Dimensions, 5. Customer Address, 6. International Paperless Invoice, 7. International product 1…n.

Add Package block, Package Options block: The “Add package” block allows you add as many packages as your shipment required. The maximum number of packages can be 200 for one shipment. The total weight of all packages mustn‟t to exceed 150 lbs. Attention: The Weight field in each package block has to be mandatory to fill. Pack weight: this field demonstrates the pack weight admin chose in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options and allows admin change it if necessary.

Configuration Options block: Who Pays for Shipment? : by default Shipper pays for Shipment, but if you created any Companies of Persons in the page “Billing 3rd Party“, you can select any of them to pay for shipment. UPS Shipping Method: admin can see the UPS shipping method customer chose for his order on front during check out stage. Admin has an opportunity to change this method to any another one. Shipper and Ship From Addresses: you have to select Addresses from your Addreess Book. This may be the same address or different. UPS rates shipment as delivery Ship From -> Customer Address. Shipper address will be recorded on a label. Test mode: you can work in test mode (if he selects “Yes”) while he has passed certification process with UPS or productivity mode (if he selects “No”) after he passed the certification process. Add tracking number automatically? - This field demonstrates what admin filled in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options in this field previously. Shipment Description: this field demonstrates the Shipment description admin filled in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options previously. Currency code: this field could be change if admin filled it in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options previously. COD: allows to tick off/on the COD using. If admin switch it on in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options previously it will be tick on in Shipment setting page. Admin has an occasion to change COD status on this page if it necessary. COD Monetary value: this field shows the COD Monetary value of order if admin switch it on in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options previously. COD Funds Code: UPS will attempt to collect the amount shown on the C.O.D. tag or package label, and then send the payment to you. If UPS cannot collect the payment after three attempts, the package will be returned. You should select the more appropriate payment method for your case:

cash,

cashiers check or money order – no cash allowed

Send InvoiceLineTotal: (for shipments from US to Canada and PR only): The InvoiceLineTotal is “Customs Value”. As UPS said, this value is summary of cost of all products in invoice without tax and shipping, so it is “Subtotal” of an order. The module sends with this parameter the Subtotal value as InvoiceLineTotal only for Canada and PR shipments. Invoice Line Total Monetary value: A monetary assessment of fabricated goods used to determine duty on international shipments. This assessment takes into consideration factors including manufacturing costs, packaging, shipping, overhead, and profit margin. Carbon neutral: Yes/No UPS carbon neutral offers the option to offset the carbon emissions associated with the transportation of your shipment. This service is offered to shippers in certain countries. You can choose it if required. Create return label now: allows you to create the return label with forward label simultaneously; Ups shipping method for return label: if you create Return Label simultaneously with the Forward Label, please select the required shipping method for your return label; Quantum View Notification Enable: Yes / No Notification Code: this option allows you to choose the required Notification code for your shipping.

Please choose the Delivery Confirmation type most suitable for your shipment.

Saturday Delivery: select this check box, if you want Saturday Delivery;

Weight and Dimensions Block: Specific unit weight: demonstrate the specific unit weight admin chose in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options.

Specific unit weight description: Large Package: allows admin determine for order is it large package or not. Include dimensions: this option is active if admin switch it with “yes” in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options. But admin can deactivate/activate this option on this page (Shipment setting page). Unit of measurement: this field demonstrates the Unit of measurement if admin filled it in System->Configuration->UPS shipping label->Configuration options by default. It can be change on this page if necessary. Unit of measurement description: allows filling the Unit of measurement description if it necessary. Length, Width, Height fields allow filling these parameters for package if it necessary.

Customer Address block: Residential address: allows you to change residential address status with Yes/No. If you choose “Yes” – our module send UPS info about this address like residential. If user select “No” – our module send UPS info about this address like commercial. Company name *, Attention name *, Phone number *, Address line 1 *, City *, State (province), Postal code *,Country code * : these fields demonstrate parameters of Customer‟s Address, but admin can change it if it necessary. Attention: UPS creates shipping label on in case of real valid Ship To (Customer) address! If you press button “Submit”, but instead of shipping label you receive error like “Missing or invalid Ship to address”, please check and correct this Customer‟s Address.

International Paperless Invoice block:

Enabled: if “Yes” – all next fields are mandatory; By default some following fields will be filled as in Configuration.

Comments: use default value, or enter new comment;

Invoice number: by default Invoice number will be the same as Order number;

Invoice date: current date;

Reason for export – use default value, or enter one of the available values: SALE, GIGT, SAMPLE, RETURN, REPAIR, INTERCOMPANYDATA;

Purchase order number: Order number;

Terms of shipment: use default value, or select value from drop-down list;

International product 1…n (all products of this Order): By default some following fields will be filled as in Configuration.

Description: default text from Configuration or Product Name will be used;

Origin Country Code: country from product country attribute or from Configuration will be used; you can change it here;

Quantity: quantity from the Order will be used; you can change it here;

Amount: product price will be used; you can change it here;

Unit of measurement: value from Configuration will be used; you can change it here;

Unit of measurement description:

Commodity Code: value from attribute, which set in Configuration will be used; you can change it here;

Part number: number of this product in shipment will be used; you can change it here;

“Get Shipment Price” button: allows getting “Shipment price” right on “Shipment setting page” before admin creates label. This function helps determine if the shipment price is correct. Our extension allows print label in GIF, HTML, PDF formats or in ZPL, EPL2 formats – for printing by Thermal printer (Zebra). You set label format in Configuration. After you check or modify shipment information at Shipment settings page you have to press Submit button to create a UPS Shipping Label for this shipment.

If you selected “Create return label now = Yes” you will receive two labels: Forward and Return on the same page:

If you create labels in ZPL, EPL2 formats:

Shipping Label links to shipment. If you don‟t print it excactly after create you should go to shipments of these order, open it and press UPS label button there to open label for printing:

Return Labels for refund orders: First of all, go to your Order and press Invoice button. At Created Invoice page you have an opportunity to choose quantity items to refund in Items to Invoice table. After you choose the quantity, press Submit Invoice button. Then press Credit memo button and choose quantity items to refund in Items to refund table. Then you have to ticks Create UPS return label and press Refund offline button. You will directed to Shipment settings page.

Here you have to check or edit all options and create Return label.

Printing “Return label” by customer: This function allows customer create and print the return label from front site if admin switch “Printing “Return label” by customer” with Yes in Configuration options (admin). If admin selects “Yes” – customer can go to Accounts (frontend), pressed on desired order – after that at Order page he can see the “Create return Ups label” link. If he pressed it – Create refund label page will appear. At this page in special table user has an opportunity to choose the quantity of products to refund. After he pressed “Submit” button – “Refund label” will appear and be available for print. This function is available only for “Complete” and “Processing” orders :

Bulk Printing: If user want to print a few or a lot of shipping labels by one click, he have to: In order‟s list user should select checkboxes of orders, which Shipping Labels he want to print; In “Actions” drop-down list select “Print UPS Shipping labels” option and click Submit button; User get the PDF document with Shipping Labels of all selected orders. Close Time * - closing time of your company‟ office where UPS have to pickup the package

Ready Time * - opening time of your company‟ office where UPS have to pickup the package

Pickup Date Year * - specify the default year when it is necessary to pick up the package

Pickup Date Month * - enter the default month data of pickup

Pickup Date Day * - you may indicate the default planned pickup date

Alternate Address Indicator * - this indicator allows choosing the appropriate address for pickup. - Original pickup address, - Alternative pickup address

Service Code * - please, select the required Service code for UPS shipping method which you use

Quantity * - please indicate the quantity of packages

Destination Country * - you should choose the destination country

Container Code * - Package, - UPS letter, - Pallet

Weight - you should enter the total weight of packages

Unit Of Measurement - you should choose the unit of measurement – LBS or KGS

Overweight Indicator - indicates whether or not at least one package is over 70 lbs or 32 kgs

Payment Method: * - For countries and (or) zip codes where pickup is free of charge, please submit 00, means no payment needed as payment method. - If 01 is the payment method, then ShipperAccountNumber and ShipperAccount CountryCode must be provided. - If 03 is selected, then CreditCard information should be provided. - If 04 is selected, then the shipper agreed to pay for the pickup packages. - If 05 is selected, then the shipper will pay for the pickup with a check or money order.

Special Instruction - special handling instruction from the customer (1…57 length)

Reference Number - information entered by a customer for internal reference (1…35 length)

Notification Enable - you can choose to receive or not e-mail notifications when your requests are approved or denied by administrators

Confirmation Email Address - Email addresses to confirm the pickup. No more than five email addresses are allowed. Enter separated by commas

Undeliverable Email Address - enter the email address where the notification should come when the goods are not delivered.

Ship From: select one of addresses in your Address Book;

Other address: select “Yes” if you want to enter other address, which is absent in your Address Book;
