Uploading and Converting Documents from your H Drive to your Google Drive 

Step 1: Select the settings wheel.  You’ll select “upload settings” first and then “convert uploaded files to Google Docs format” second. 

  The drop down should look like this below before selecting.  Once you select it, the settings will stay that way.

Step 2:  Now you’ll want to upload your documents.  Make sure you are in “My Drive”. If you select a folder below the text “My Drive”, it will save it in that selected folder.  

  If you are selecting individual files, select “Files”

Step 3:  Upload documents from your H drive or another source. 

  Step 4:  Google converts the file and puts it in your Google Drive.

Step 5:  (Optional) Uploading existing folders  When you select the up arrow to upload, select “folders”.  Then you’ll want to find the folder to want to upload and convert into your google drive.  If it is a big folder, it may take some time.
