The following pages will explain ourethos & approach and as afamily-orientated Club what we offerboth on and off the pitch.
We are a FA Charter Standard Clubwith an emphasis on Football for Alland player development regardlessof ability for both boys and girls.
However we ensure that all playersplay at a level to match their ability.
We also have strict club policies:• Code of Conduct• Child Protection • Safeguarding Children• Anti-bullying• Equality & Anti-Racism

focus on this then everything else will
fall into place.
For those who show the potential toprogress and play at a higher level, wehave an established and successfulpathway into the professional game.

We operate teams from U7 through toU16 with a player/coach ratio of 8:1.The same as a Category A, Professional Club Academy.
We also accept both boys and girlsfrom the age of 5 who begin with ourLittle Rangers DevelopmentSquad (LRDS).
They are coached by Mark Hunter whois a UEFA B West Ham UnitedAcademy Coach.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENTPROGRAMME (PDP)
This is operated in conjunction with Pro-Academy and Mark Hunter, a UEFA B West Ham United Academy Coach.
We started the Programme in 2011 andsince then 23 players have progressedto train and play at a higher level.
2 of these have been signed by Ipswich Town and Southend United respectively.

Part of our PDP Programme also
includes weekly dedicated coaching
sessions for all our Keepers.
Since the introduction of thesesessions one has moved onto play forPro-Academy and another hasrecently progressed into theFITC Academy.

We look after our players on and off the
field of play and provide the following

Sports Injury Specialistwhich includes injury diagnosis,management and recovery.
Heart ScreeningFor Players who attain 14, allParents are provided withdetails of the Heart Screeningprogramme conducted by Cardiac Risk in the Young headed by CardiologistProfessor Sharma.
Sports ScienceCovering health, wellbeing, diet,nutritional and fitness advice
Player/Parent MentoringFor those who are offered theopportunity of progressing totrain and play at a higher levelwe offer a mentoring service toguide you through all theoptions available so that youcan make informed decisions.

THEPLAYER COUNCIL
We are the first grassroots Club in Essex
to introduce a Player Council.
Each Team from U10 upwards has arepresentative on the Council whohelp shape what we do as a Club bothon and off the pitch.
They meet at least 4 times per yearand form an integral part of ourdecision-making process.
