Burtons Ford Cosworth YB Modified Inlet PlenumThe original Cosworth YBplenum did not supply an evendistribution of air to each cylinder,meaning that whilst onecylinder's mixture is fine, anothercould be rich because it is gettingless air. This becomes morecritical with increasedperformance of the engine.

Burton’s modified plenum uses ahigh air flow venturi design tosupply an equal amount of air toeach cylinder resulting in powergains of 10-25 bhp depending on the engine specification.

The plenum has been machined with O ring sealing joints for both manifold and throttle bodyfaces and made from a strong alloy casting which will not split under high boost pressures, unlikewelded manifolds. It comes complete with a full fitting kit.

DEI Injector Heat Covers Prevent Vapour Lock and Heat Soak

High underbonnet temperature can have an effect on fuel injectors causing vapour lock orheat soak which in turn gives rise to rough idling, difficult starting and other potential engineproblems.

DEI has the solution - DEI Fuel Injector Reflective Heat Covers that reflect direct and radiantheat away from the injectors. They are available in packs of two, four, six or eight.

The covers are made from high-temperature rated glass fibre material bonded to a heatreflective, aluminised material.

GAZ Custom BuildSuspension Kits

The GAZ range of off-the-shelf applications is prettyextensive, but if, by chance, GAZ don’t list anapplication for your vehicle, or you requiresomething more specialised, the company can alsoproduce custom made suspension kits to thecustomer’s own specification.

GAZ can use donor hubs, totally recondition themand precision weld them to brand new struts.Where strut inserts are required, GAZ will producenew units from scratch to the customer’sspecifications including adjustable ride height andadjustable damper rates and supply lowered,uprated, suspension springs.

All struts and damper units now feature the new GAZ black zinc protective finish as well as thenew white GAZ logo.

The height adjustable platforms are anodised for long life; they also have a coarse acme formthread for ease of adjustment and to ensure that they remain in good order - even afterconsiderable service. Damper rates are variable by means of easily accessible adjuster knobs.

The Rover 220 Coupé Turbo of the Nineties isreckoned to be the fastest ever production Rover andwith a top speed of 150 mph (241 km/h) and a 0-60mph time of 6.2 seconds (according to a1992 Autocartest) it’s still a pretty quick car by today’s standards.

However it’s unlikely that the handling and suspensionperformance will be up to the same standards after allthis time so GAZ shocks are now offering anadjustable coilover kit for the Rover 220 Coupé Turbo(and the naturally aspirated 220 Coupé).

Ride height is variable by means of height adjusterswith coarse acme form thread for ease of adjustment.Damper units are zinc plated to ensure that they remainin good order even after considerable service.

Damper rates are also variable by means of anadjuster knob on the damper body.

All the units are individually tested before leaving thefactory and are covered by a 2 year warranty.

Mini Spares have just released two ForgedSteel Con Rod sets, one for the Cooper S(Part number C-AEG624) and one for the1275cc (part number C-AEG626) which isideal for the A+ Block and crankshaft.
