These lectures are part of the first Scandinavian Master of Sci- ence Program in Urban Planning & Design (UPD) lecture series responsible: Dr. Tigran Haas, Assistant Professor of Urban planning & Design, and Director of UPD Program. This lecture is made possible by the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, Department of Urban planning & Environment. Please do join us for these unique presentations! School of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) is one of nine schools which are part of KTH. Our programs and research deal with the future of society; how cities, buildings and infrastructures will be designed and built, how institutions and regula- tion systems should be developed to provide for a livable environment and good development condi- tions for industry. School of Architecture & the Built Environment at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) School of ABE consists of seven institutions which deal with subjects ranging from architecture, building and land science & water technology to philosophy, national economy and society planning.
