    48th St. Gallen Symposium February 1, 2018Essay competition to participate in the 48th St. Gallen Symposium. The top 100 qualify as Leaders of Tomorrow and are invited to participate in the worlds premier opportunity for intergenerational debates.

    Educational Testing Service (ETS) Summer Internship Program in ResearchFebruary 1, 2018Students will be selected to participate in ongoing research projects under the supervision of ETS senior staff. The program seeks to increase the number of women and minority professionals in educational measurement and related fields.

    American Philosophical Society Library Resident Research FellowshipsFebruary 2, 2018Short-term residential fellowships for conducting research in the American Philosophical Society Library in Philadelphia, PA.

    Center for Jewish History Graduate Research FellowshipFebruary 2, 2018Residential ten-month fellowships for doctoral candidates to support original research using the collections of the Centers partners: American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, Yeshiva University Museum, and YIVO, Institute for Jewish Research. Preference is given to those candidates who draw on the library and archival resources of more than one partner institution.

    Summer Fellowship in Disability Policy Research February 9, 2018 Opportunity for students in masters programs or early in doctoral programs (pre-dissertation phase) to spend the summer of 2018 at Mathematicas Washington, DC office to learn more about conducting an independent research project related to disability policy.

    Dissertation Fellowship Program February 23, 2018 Fellowship which offers financial support to students conducting their doctoral dissertation research on topics consistent with the DRCs mission. In contrast with the summer fellows program, dissertation fellows will remain at their home institution, with financial support provided to continue cutting-edge dissertation research.

    Smithsonian InstitutionSTRI Short-Term Fellowship ProgramFebruary 15, 2018Provides support for graduate students and introduces them to tropical research. These fellowships enable selected candidates to work in the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and explore research possibilities at STRI.

    University Research Association Visiting Scholars Program February 26, 2018Funding for visits to work at Fermilab for up to one year.

    The Mariam K. Chamberlain Fellowship in Women and Public PolicyFebruary 28, 2018$27,000, nine-month fellowships assist in the professional development of students and graduates interested in economic and educational support for women.

    Sigma Delta Pi Graduate Research GrantMarch 1, 2018Research grants for active members of Sigma Delta Pi to travel to Spain and Spanish America for research related to Hispanic Studies.

    Dissertation Fellowships in Early American Economy & SocietyMarch 1, 2018One dissertation research fellowship and four, one-month fellowships for research of the American economy and society, from its colonial beginnings to the 1850s. Possible topics include global trade, internal development, politics, the relationship between race/gender and economic forces, and capitalism. Awards provide support research in residence at The Library Company of Philadelphia.

    Sir John Soanes Museum Foundation Traveling Fellowship ProgramMarch 1, 2018$5,000 fellowships support travel to London to pursue research projects related to the Sir John Soanes Museum or its collections.

    Women Chemists Committee/Eli Lilly Travel Awards March 1, 2018Need-based grants offered to graduate and postdoctoral women chemists to travel and present the results of their research at scientific meetings.

    Kobe College Corporation/Japan Education Exchange - Graduate Fellowship ProgramMarch 1, 2018The KCC Japan Education Exchange Graduate Fellowships Program was established in 1996 to support qualified graduate students for research or study in Japan. The purpose of the fellowship is to support future American educators who will teach more effectively about Japan.

    Harry S. Truman Library Research Grant April 1, 2018Research Grants of up to $2,500 are awarded twice annually to offset the cost of conducting research at the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum.

    North American Conference on Business Studies Dissertation Fellowship April 1, 2018 (anticipated)Supports research in the British Isles on any topic of British (including Scottish, Irish and Imperial) history or British Studies. Applicant must need to travel to the British Isles for the purpose of dissertation research.

    Neotropical Grassland Conservancy (NGC) Student Grant ProgramApril 1, 2018The foundations mission is promoting the conservation of savannas, gallery forests, wetlands, and associated ecosystems in Central and South America. The Student Grant Program (SGP) was designed in response to feedback from Venezuelan professors. Graduate student research projects are often hindered by lack of funds for basic needs such as transportation, lodging, meals and consumable field supplies. Open to Latin American students enrolled in a M.S. or Ph.D. program in a US or South American university.
