We are writing this proposal to let you know about our Final Project. It includes the overview of our project. As this the proposal is just for the sake of acceptance so it may not include all the Project Requirements, Development Process and Schedule etc. All of these details will be furnished after the approval of the Project in later versions of the Project Proposal. However we tried our level best to provide you the general idea of our Final Project. We went through a lot of Final Project Proposals in different fields of Computer Science given at different web sources. We brain stormed on different projects and found this one suitable for us as it fitted well with our interests in Computer Industry, also because we want to make a Market Oriented Product. We hope you will like our proposal and honor it with your endorsement. Also we hope that your supervision will help us a great deal in accomplishing this project and will brace our concepts and skills in this field.

HR is saddled with administrative management of leave, updation of leave balances and responding to queries on balances and entitlements from employees and their managers. Employees too find it a bother to have to fill paper forms and chase them up with approving managers.

A significant amount of expensive employee, manager and HR time is wasted in a very basic HR process of approving, rejection and cancelation of leave applications.

Same scenario was for class room allocation and cancellation of room. From giving application till the allotment of room all things were done manually and were time and resources consuming.

Objectives of the Project

Online application for leave without the need for paperwork.

Leave approval through normal email without the need to login.

Applicant and Approving Officer can see complete leave records and approval history respectively.

Leave records are updated automatically once applications are approved.

Leave records may be printed out or generated into reports.

Leave records may be exported to any backend system.

Leave calendar provides a bird's eye view of who's on leave.

All leave policies are configurable (i.e. no software customization required).

UoG Leave Management & Make-up Class Room Reservation System(LMS) both are web based information systems which will overcome the manual work flow of class allocation and leaves application and their approval. Before these system class rooms were allocated manually for makeup classes, arranged lab session or for any purpose also leave applications and their approval was managed manual, manual method was not much reliable and time consuming.LMS of UOG will automate class room allocation and leave application and there approval, rejection and cancelation.
