Setting The setting took place in a place called the

graveyard. The graveyard is used by AWOL unwinds. The AWOLs use the grave yard for protection, training, and shelter.

The setting also takes place in the city. Sometimes Connor and the other AWOL captains go out into the city to find kids that are being unwound, so they can rescue them and take them to the graveyard.

Both of these places takes time in the future when they figure out the process of unwinding

Connor Tan Skin Brave Connor and his friends went out into the city where they could have been shot and killed by the juvey-cops.

Brown Hair Rebellious Connor is the Akron AWOL unwind. He could get out of any hard situation. He wouldn’t follow anyone’s rule, instead he’d make up his own.

Green Eyes Clever When he went to go rescue Noah he tricked Noah’s parents into thinking he was a juvey-cop that was going to take him to a harvest camp.

Cam Blonde Hair Athletic His body is made up of the best unwinds. His hands and legs belonged to someone athletic and strong.

Blue Eyes Intelligent He is intelligent because he can find out his way through anything. His brain is from the unwind who would always get the best.

Muscular Courageous He is courageous because he would only see the good things in everything and didn’t have any fear.

Conflict The juvey-cops’ missions is to barge into to the

unwind’s house and grab him/her and leave. They do that in a rush because they don’t want the parents to change their mind about the unwind.

Some clappers are trying to destroy all the AWOL unwinds instead of unwinding them because they think the AWOLs might have poisoned themselves or made themselves clapper. They don’t want to use those parts just incase if it kills another person.

Plot Diagram

Introduction:First, the juvey-

cops come to take the unwinds from their house and head on to the harvest camp

Rising Action:Next the AWOL captains come and rescue the unwinds from the cops, while dressed in a robber’s uniform.

Conflict:Sometimes the captains may not be able to catch every unwind, so the unwinds that want to escape have to think on their own.

Climax:If the captain does rescue a

unwind, they will send them to a station on an plane where they store luggage. The AWOLs are

packed in with air tanks trying to stay alive.

Falling Action:When the plane lands, the captains quickly sneak out the unwinds and take them to the graveyard for safety.

Ending:When the unwinds

reach the graveyard, they get assigned a

room where they stay until they’re

instructed to leave.

Theme No matter how hard your situation can be, just

forget the fear, and only the good you will see. Starkey: Starkey was being unwound just because he was

storked. He just thought of how bad they (his parents) treated him, and smiled when he was leaving (page 3)

Cam: Cam was forced to shoot Risa and kill her or get killed himself. He thought about how Risa had done nothing wrong, so he decided to save Risa and escape (page 225).

Connor & Lev: Through all the violence going on, Connor & Lev always believed it was all going to finish soon. When they thought that, it gave them more courage. They both survived all of this, and headed home (page 402)

Point of View The author tells this story through every

main characters’ point of view. This helps the reader understand what each character is going through, and what each characters’ opinions are. If the author only put it in one character’s point of view, it would change the whole story.

Symbolism Cam is a person created by scientists

who’s body is made out of different unwind parts. His whole body is a symbolism to a skill each unwind had. His legs are to represent speed. His eyes represent beauty that only sees the good in everything.

Recommendation I personally think that this is the best book I

have ever read! There is so much action and thriller! This book is about unwinds that will do anything to escape being unwound who we call ‘AWOL Unwinds’.

This isn’t all just action and violence. It can also teach us a few lessons about being brave. I may make it sound boring but I promise that you will love this book!

I hope you get a chance to read this AWESOME book!! =P

I hope you liked my little presentation about the AMAZING book called

Unwholly.
