Premier Block Services (PBS) was formed as a joint venture company between the Altius Group of Companies (GOC) and Kevin Roberts, bringing together quality tradesmen with technical expertise and over 18 years experience within the block management and maintenance industry. This plethora of knowledge and experience means that PBS offer a tailored one-stop-shop for block and estate management companies and professional organisations.

Premier Block Services is able to provide a complete service to property managers, housing associations, freehold companies and their clients. Kevin has worked in the industry for many years and can appreciate the need for a high-quality maintenance company, to not only undertake repairs, but to act as the eyes and the ears on site, providing feedback, photographic evidence and quotations to the client on their request.

In our experience, individual contractors tend to offer a good service on the job they have been employed to complete, but do not take note of other issues around them, which may present a problem if not highlighted to the client.

Premier Block Services take a different approach. Our skilled personnel will attend to the job in hand then provide a brief report on the surrounding area. This ensures any issues are highlighted and can be resolved quickly without further damage or inconvenience to the block or individual flats.

Working in-conjunction with Altius GOC, Premier Block Services can undertake a wide spectrum of services to include; in-house chartered surveyors, mechanical and electrical solutions, car park management, renewable energy (LED technology, solar panels, etc), insulation and ground engineering solutions. With the ability to build blocks and estates from the ground up, looking after existing developments is a simple transfer of our pre-existing skills base.

Headquartered in Letchworth Garden City with a satellite office in London we are well placed to respond quickly to any enquiry. Serving developments within the M25 and Home Counties,Premier Block Services is close enough to respond but far enough out to not have the overhead costs associated with London based contractors.

Premier Block Services offer a number of services which can either be used on a one-off basis or as part of a more general property maintenance contract, these services are divided into three core teams:

Maintenance and Call OutIncluding emergency call out to resolve issues such as electrical faults, glazing, water leaks, door locks as well as minor works such as general carpentry and non-emergency electrical works.

Major WorksOur major works team will undertake refurbishment, internal and external decorating, major electrical works including emergency lighting, CCTV, electric gate installation and bricklaying. Premier Block Service’s managers will undertake regular inspections during major work to ensure consistency of our high standards.

ServicesOur services department ensure the cleaning, gardening and window cleaning contracts running on individual residential developments are maintained at the highest possible standard. We undertake regular ‘spot visits’ to ensure our high standards are always met.

All teams carry out their duties with a commitment to quality; each team member is accredited to the relevant industry standards and Premier Block Services is currently working to achieve accreditation with Safe4Site, plus has ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 in place for complete peace of mind.
